Exactly.....A soul is a belief....If you believe there is a "soul" you must first believe in a "Supreme Being ( a God)" that creates that soul,...then it is immoral for a mere man to extinguish that soul.....If you believe there is no "Supreme Being" , then you can not believe that there is a soul and therefore no foul in taking away something that does not exist.....

I'm an agnostic.....Because I can prove a "Supreme Being".....I just don't know whose it is....

The whole idea of an immortal soul brings up all sorts of questions.
When did the soul evolve?
Did Neanderthals have souls?
Australopithecus?
Chimpanzees?
Lemurs?
Raccoon?
whales?
Cockroaches?
If the soul is present at conception, then it requires only one cell, so a cockroach has the body mass to contain a soul.
Do souls of the unborn already exist? Are they created at conception, by angels hovering over those engaged in coitus, waiting to drop a soul on the right money shot?

So all the religious arguments about killing babies are moot until a living child is actually born.
Indeed, this is correct.

I would love to see your "proof" of a Supreme Being.

I've been an atheist for about 30 years now and for the last 15 years I have yet to see an argument or any evidence that has not been shown to me before and the only thing they all have in common is how weak they are.
