This has been argued in countless threads on this forum and probably an semi-infinite number of times in the history of the world, or at least since mankind stopped being terrified of the loving god and his frocked henchmen. I accept I won't convince you and I have no idea why you don't just admit that you won't convince me.

But I will not let assertions like yours go unchallenged.
How does that one theory about the dead cat in a box go..??

Well, I'm so very sorry I stooped to challenge the supreme arbiter of who is and isn't a person, whoever that is that actually won this argument that has taken place countless times. I'm afraid there are a whole lot of good people in this world who will continue to disagree with you, so I don't think it's you.

Who claims to have won? Are you that insecure?

And are you implying that you don't think that there are a whole bunch of people in the world that disagree with you?

Dream on.

Actually, the cat in the box thing is a terrible simplification that quantum theory principle, IMO. I just think humanity has has a thing for cats for a long time.
Thanks from Sabcat

Oh, I know there are people who disagree with me, but I also think there are MORE people who believe that at some point in development, a fetus actually IS a person. Since the argument actually hasn't been won, I found it odd that you would be so forceful to say you were not going to let my "arbitrary" statement go unchallenged, as if I was in some tiny minority of people who unreasonably feel the way I do.

You really like playing the persecuted Christian. Or you suffer incredible lack of reading comprehension. This is twice now that you you claim I have said something in a post that I haven't said.

Of course, the republican/teabagging party is the party of anti-women. They want all rights removed from women ESPECIALLY the ones governing their right to choose WHEN to have children, HOW many children to have and by WHOM. This makes the republican party one of the biggest pro- big government parties of our times.
although I think purvi patel's sentence was a bit harsh, she did throw a LIVE baby in a dumpster and then lied to doctors at the hospital. I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for anyone who would throw a baby in a dumpster like it was trash. if she didn't want the stigma of being an unwed mother she should have kept her damn legs shut!

"No, the slippery slope is you arbitrarily deciding that a fetus is a person."
"But I will not let assertions like yours go unchallenged."

You didn't actually say these sentences, even though i took them directly from your post? How else am I supposed to read them other than that you DON'T think the fetus is a person and that someone who does think the fetus is a person should have their assertion challenged?

I did say those things. I did not say my side had won. I did not say that the opposition on either side was some tiny minority. Don't you even remember what you put in your own posts?
