Question for Abortion Proponents

After reading the comments on this site and on so many other sites through the years, I see there are constant denials against the allegations that an abortion kills a child.

This denial ranges from the denial of the fact that "life begins at conception" to the more extreme denial of "it's not a human being until it can think, have a beating heart, feel pain or even breathe."

Consequently, I focus a lot of my time and energy trying to address these denials.

This lead to one of many re-occurring thoughts.

How many abortion proponents would change their views on abortion - if they became convinced of the fact that an abortion does kill a child and from that - legalized abortion denies children their rights to the equal protections of our laws?

It is better if the low life bitch doesn't get pregnant in the first place.

To those who are answering "YES" to the poll. . .

Can I ask why you don't just announce up front that you don't care if an abortion kills a child or not when you are discussing abortion?

That would save a lot of time.

The key phrase in the poll was "...if you were convinced...."

The status of an embryo or fetus will always be a matter of opinion, in my opinion.

What's that supposed to mean?

I can't be any more clear than I'm being. Do you wish to impose your beliefs on others who don't share them?

Are you upset that your tax dollars sometimes support abortion?

You disagree with the Israelites' opinion that a person is present when the first breath is taken. Are there any more Judeo-Christian concepts with which you disagree?

Right. If you were convinced that an abortion does kill a child, does deny their rights, etc. Would you still support keeping abortions legal?

If you answer YES. . . Then why don't you just say so up front?

Why waste time arguing about when life begins and stuff like that?

I already answered your questions.

Personally, were I a woman I doubt seriously that I'd ever have an abortion.

I'm not interested in making decisions for others on the topic of abortion.

The fetus is not a person until the third trimester. I do not agree with late term abortions unless it is to save the mother's life.

No.

I see an inconsistency in our laws that allows for the denial of rights to children who can not speak for not defend themselves.

Of course. However, that's a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Probably dozens.

I'm not religious. . . so. . .
