Positve policies from the Obama Administration?

It is too easy to bash and disagree with the Obama administration given that there is a lot for right leaning folks to disagree with. It seems every week there is something new from his lips that sets us off.

However, this thread is not about that. What this thread is about is where we do actually agree with the current administration. Can right leaning folks here on DTT think of "any number of positives" for the Obama administration that they actually like and are not afraid to voice their opinions? To start with (In no particular order):

1.) Redirecting NASA space policy to developing more powerful rockets, R&D for an eventual manned landing on Mars in the next decade or two, and inadvertently... opening the way for private enterprise to get a foot into being a major player in space policy solutions.

2.) The Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance & Job Creation act of 2010. Otherwise known as by me: The Bush/Obama tax cuts. Continued as American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012.

3.) Although started under Bush's watch, in which... this would have been absolutely impossible to accomplish without; The death of Osama bin Laden. It has to be admitted, it was kind of gutsy sending our SOF's guy's into Pakistan in light of desert one's failure back at the end of the Carter administration & the Mogadishu raid in the early 90's. I am not sure Bush would have taken such a high risk without an absolute 100% certainty that Osama was there in the the compound? And the continuance of drone strikes on terror targets has got Al Qaeda, the Taliban and.supporting terrorist organizations and their collective leadership b!@tching, griping, peeing their pants, appealing for help and always scurrying for cover whenever they hear a faint buzz in the air. Thus, this is a big plus for me.

4.) The pivot to Asia. Many people think the US is increasing the tensions in the region by following this policy. I disagree. I think it is a smart geopolitical policy given the history of the region. That tensions have always been there for centuries are only now resurfacing because of China's rise, with every single one of it's neighbors scared to no end as China is flexing it's muscles in the Western Pacific and South China sea. The pivot, i think, actually induces more of a calming effect on China's neighbors, the reduction of tensions in the region and a chance for diplomacy to work between the players, backed with American & allied military muscle.

I am sure that has to be more. These are just the ones i can think of off hand.

I'm probably one of the few people on the left in the US that like the drone fighter program under Bush and am glad the Obama expanded the program.
