Who Says America Doesn't Have a National Religion?

Sure we do. In fact, we have two: capitalism and liberal democracy. I mean, we don't question it, it's always "fair", and even when it is clearly wrong we say: "well that's just the way it is, and if you don't like it you can leave."

Poverty? "Well that's just the way it is."

Pollution? "Well that's just the way it is."

Unemployment? "Well that's just the way it is."

Racism? "Well that's just the way it is."

Sexism? "Well that's just the way it is."

Shitty politicians? "Well why don't you run for office?" Or again, "That's just the way it is."

A Polarized Political System? "Well that's just the way it is."

Very few people question what we have. Very few people think of ways we can change it. The people who do want to change it get called "communists", "radicals", and "traitors".

*B4 anyone says "voting": No, just, no. Stop. This is a cop out. Figuring out which used car salesman is better than the other isn't questioning the system. I mean why don't we ask deep questions like "why do all these problems exist, and what are our politicians (who we voted for) doing about it?"

The solidification of harmful socioeconomic and political systems as the status quo is often upkept by those who benefit from it in the form of monetary gain. Follow the money trail up to the those who finance the system and it's politicans, lobbyists and propaganda machine and you find who has a vested interest in maintaining such destructive systems.

Did I say "finance"? Sorry, I meant "contributed donations"; after all, that is their first amendment right. "Corporations are people, my friend."
Thanks from RNG and Sabcat

Does this mean you are finally admitting that after 47 congressional investigations into Benghazi, it's time to find another phoney scandal since that one didn't work out too well?

Well, since they are not very smart they have to at least be persistent.

We have neither.
We have a socialist/fascist government and economy in spite of the fact our founders, who were well educated in both gov't and economics, gave us a Constitutional Republic after determining that it was the best, fairest, and most just system for the people without regards and even in contempt of the monarchy and the rich.
They also warned that it would likely not last very long and there was very little they could do to ensure that it did because of human nature.

Most people know and say it isn't fair while at the same time their so called solutions have been tried many times before and always lead to more of the same.

Poverty? "Well that's just the way it is."
Not the govt's responsibility to make you rich or lift you out of poverty beyond ensuring within reason that you aren't robbed or otherwise harmed by others.

Quote:
Pollution? "Well that's just the way it is."
Again, really not the govt's responsibility but one can reasonably seek to have the gov't reign in serious issues with pollution for the safety of the people.

Quote:
Unemployment? "Well that's just the way it is."
How is it the responsibility of the government to ensure you are employed?
In a communist government they do and the system leads to serious injustices and outright evil far beyond what you state here.

Quote:
Racism? "Well that's just the way it is."
Institutionalizing racism to combat racism is insane.
I would even go so far as to say if anyone thinks racism can be eliminated is insane as even the lower forms of life treat other forms differently.
So called "racism" is a fact of life/mother nature/the world and you need to wash your brain out right now.

Quote:
Sexism? "Well that's just the way it is."
Same as racism.
The sexes, just as the races, are different and will never, ever be the same without serious changes in reality.
Let me make those changes clear: eliminate different races until there is only one race left/eliminate one sex until there is only one left.
What can be done is protect the rights of everyone equally and what we currently have is merely racism with the formerly discriminated against race the one that now gets privileges.

Shitty politicians? "Well why don't you run for office?" Or again, "That's just the way it is."
Not meaning to be offensive but at this point it is clear that you are either very young and naive or older enough to know better but been lucky enough to avoid having to.

Quote:
A Polarized Political System? "Well that's just the way it is."
It is not the way it has to be and some countries have briefly not had polarized political systems but again, you will always have black and white/good and evil/fairness and injustice/etc ad naseum.
IT'S CALLED REALITY, DEAL WITH IT!

I fear that if you make comments such as you did above an intelligent and educated person knows that you are filled to the brim with communist ideology and yet unaware or barely aware of it.

I can tell you exactly why the system is the way it is, how it got here, and who is behind making sure it has become what it is.
You will not understand what I am saying, you will not believe what I can tell you, you will get angry at me, and all that shows that clearly you are
far from educated enough to benefit from what I can tell you.
This applies to a whole lot of people on this forum in particular but the general public as a whole.
I even stress to people who freak out and get angry when I insist upon some truths to not believe me and get off their arse and PROVE ME WRONG
by doing the research and getting the education necessary to do so.
None have yet many, yes I do mean YOU IgnorantTwat (among many others), constantly prove that education and research is exactly what they need most....

Who am I to say this?
Just an omnivorous reader and student of many subject who likely read more books by the age of 6 than you have or will
in your whole lifetime and this goes not just for you but at least one half or more of this forums' posters.

Since the level those posters is it is simian, with lots of OY VEYs, poop throwing fests, name calling, and all the usual monkey business I naturally can and do stoop to this level and take part
and often thoroughly enjoy myself!
Frankly I LMFAO a LOT here, but there are some posters here, in the minority, that clearly deserve respect and are not poorly educated rage monkeys and that keeps me coming back to help a
little with wiping the monkey poop off their faces.

Will wait for the monkey troop to chimp out on this post but
NOWHEREMAN DON'T NEED NO FLAMEPROOF SUIT!
I AM SHIELDED BY THE COOLNESS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HUMOUR!
BRING ON THE VILLAGERS WITH TORCHES, I CARRY A FLAMETHROWER!
