Trump's Big Immigration Speech

Quote:
Trump: Mexico will pay for wall, '100%'

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has insisted Mexico will pay for a border wall "100%", in a major immigration speech.

He told a rally in Arizona he would secure the border and left open the possibility millions of undocumented immigrants could be deported.

Hours earlier, he met the Mexican President Pena Nieto but said they did not discuss who would pay for the wall.

But the president later insisted he had told Mr Trump Mexico would not pay.

There had been speculation that he would back off his plan to deport the estimated 11m undocumented immigrants living in the US.
Speculation? Didn't he say he was backing off that about half an hour ago. (Slight hyperbole.)

What a coward. He didn't havee the guts to say that in Mexico but goes back at it when he's in Arizona. Only an idiot would vote for the guy.

He's a pro!!!

Trump, while in Mexico: We didn't discuss paying for it.

Nieto: The fuck. I told you square on we're not paying for it.

Later.....

Trump, while in the US: Hell yeah the Mexicans are paying for it.

Trump more than a year ago called Mexico an enemy. He never backed off.

Simple, all the facts that matter in "The Border Wall Story."

The right side couldn't care less what the liberal MSM has to say unless it's saying what they want to hear. Next thing ya know, the righties are quoting the liberal MSM.

If you watched Trump in Mexico, you saw a soft-spoken guy, reading his speech from a paper on the podium--no emotion--no nothing. It was sort of akin to when he endorsed Ryan. I still laugh when I think of that.
Then he gets to Arizona and BOOM! What is he.....like bipolar?? In Phoenix--BOOM!
Now he's going to:
*Create a "special deportation force" focused on removing immigrants arrested (not convicted) for crimes. So he's going to remove unconvicted immigrants---because THAT'S the American way. Oh well, I guess it creates jobs for the Trump cult.
*Cut off any path to citizenship and insist those seeking legal status must return to their own countries first.....and THEY (the bad GUYS) are going to self-deport? Be rounded up? Didn't Trump say he would have 2 million deported in the FIRST (the very first) HOUR of his presidency??
*Introduce "extreme vetting" of immigrants to make sure they adhered to American values
Protect the interests of African American and Hispanic workers by restricting legal immigration numbers. I am willing to bet Trump has never even LOOKED at our vetting process. I'm willing to bet that Trump has no idea what our current vetting process is. Has anyone asked him that question? And now he's comparing the illegal immigrants, their lifestyle, their jobs to African Americans and Hispanic Americans?? I bet that will get him a few more votes. Is Trump a sociopath??
*Get tough on people who overstay their visas, making them subject to deportation. Hmmm....here's a question. What if they don't WANT to go? Well, then I guess you'd need camps. Lots and LOTS of Camps.
Detention camps.
Processing camps. How lovely! And we're back to the Japanese and WWII. But humanely.

Obama Pays Mexico Five Billion Dollars to Keep Donald Trump

By Andy Borowitz , August 31, 2016

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—President Barack Obama defended his decision on Wednesday to issue a payment of five billion dollars to Mexico to compel that nation to retain custody of Donald J. Trump.

The payment, which will be delivered to the Mexican government in hard American currency by Wednesday afternoon, will insure that Trump will remain in Mexico for the rest of his natural life.

“I have been assured by the government of Mexico that Mr. Trump will be well taken care of and, if he proves to be a productive member of their society, will be provided a pathway to Mexican citizenship,” Obama said.

While the transfer of funds to Mexico sparked howls of protest from some Trump supporters, it was hailed by congressional Democrats, as well as by over a hundred Republicans currently running for reelection, including Arizona Senator John McCain.

The President bristled at the suggestion that paying Mexico to keep Trump was “reverse ransom” and an extravagant use of taxpayer money. “There is only one accurate word for this payment: a bargain,” he said.
