Obama added 10 TRILLION dollars of debt to the US National Debt. We have so many millions of people that have dropped out of the job market. Obama is the only USA President that has not reached an annual GDP of 3%

His average GDP is more like 1.55%

These are the same lies that the fake news Washington Post tried to pawn off.

Gee, the article is about the Obamaconomy, but there isn't a single mention of the primary economic indicator, GDP.

I would imagine that is because of the 38% drop in economic growth rate from 2015 to 2016, when it dropped from a pitiful 2.6% to a pathetic 1.6%.

Economic growth has been declining for years in the Obamaconomy and we were trending to recession territory.

More like 2.1 percent.

I am calculating a 1.45% Real GDP using dollars chained to 2009. Am I getting something wrong?

Mathematics isn't your strong suit. Your "average" is lower than any year you listed.

Obama should have passed to Trump a disintegrating economy, you know, like Bush did, with all the stops already pulled, and then maybe he'd have a better GDP growth rate record.
Thanks from RNG

I don't know what your numbers are. I got my data from what was published at bea.gov.

In IT's article they only used 2010 through 3rd quarter 2016.

Also they talk about total wealth generation, but that is only on paper and only for those at the top. Real median household incomes and wealth still haven't recovered.

You also see that economic growth has been trending down since 2010, it was only 1.6% in 2016, we were on track to slip into negative territory and recession.
