The answer is the feds should not bail out banks and car companies. I think the only difference is the banks and car companies were required to pay back the money.

The banks did pay back the bailout money with a little interest. GM and Fiat still owe you a little over $9 Bn.

This SHIT happened before the GODDAM election, Walter Mitty. The article never mentioned Trump nor the Republicans. If Walter Mitty had an honest spine, he would have mentioned this has been an ongoing situation for a entire generation.. Yet, he chose to use the plight of others to infuse his own fantastical agenda bitching about Trump where it did not exist.

Perfect example of TDS, fake news, and stupidity of one giant snowflake all gathered at a crossroad and the damn idiot thinks he is on to something about Trump. Back in the days, we used to called such a challenged person a "clown" or referred to him as the ""village idiot".
Apparently you don't read well, that explains your stupidity.👻

Yes and the auto industry was going through a bankruptcy and did not require the Feds to spend a dime for it to happen. The bailout was mainly for the Unions.

It should fail. The federal government is not in the business of picking up failed pensions. Pensions, like unions are a thing of the past. Those who have them now as a part of their contracts should be honored but they should no longer be offered especially to government employees.
Thanks from coke

Yeah I agree,

The War on Coal? As Trump said, "When I was young, in high school (the Union Days) and in college, everybody used to say we never lost a war. America never lost. Now, we never win a war."

As he said, we need “to start winning wars again.”

Let's start with the War on Coal.

There is no war on coal, there is a war ( was a war) on pollution. If coal users would clean up their act there would be no problem.....actually, natural gas production is doing more harm to the coal companies than regulation.

Obama made a clear and direct war on coal. He made executive orders specifically designed to kill the coal industry.
