More changes in Trump's staff

Quote:
Trump national security adviser KT McFarland 'to step down'

President Donald Trump's deputy national security adviser, KT McFarland, has been asked to step down after just three months, US media say.

Ms McFarland, an ex-Fox News analyst, has reportedly been offered the role of ambassador to Singapore instead.

It comes days after Mr Trump removed his senior strategist Steve Bannon from the National Security Council (NSC).
The NSC advises the president on national security and foreign affairs.

Mr Bannon's appointment in January raised fears that the circle of top advisers was being politicised.

Analysts say the latest moves show Mr Trump's new national security adviser, Lt Gen HR McMaster, reshaping the NSC team appointed by his predecessor.

The previous national security adviser, Lt Gen Michael Flynn, was fired after just three weeks and three days in the job, after it emerged he had misled the vice-president over his conversations with Russia's ambassador to the US.
Ms McFarland was a favourite of Mr Flynn.
Is this because he wants to un-politicize the NSC or is it because a Fake News purveyor and a Faux News purveyor aren't really security experts and "who knew national security was so complicated"?

I would accept this as good news, except for the fact that the most dangerous warmongers are the respectable leaders of the military and state security apparatus. They are completely amoral about politics and just want to suck out more money for armaments and places to use them up so they can get more...remember, each one of those Raytheon missiles costs over $1 million a piece! That's good news for their executives and major shareholders/not necessarily good news when one of their proxy wars turns into the real thing....worth noting that the first world war also began without a real cause after years of pointless saber-rattling between inbred royal cousins and their government minions.

It's a way to get her the fuck out of anything with any importance. Just firing her would bring attention to Trump's incompetence. This only costs the taxpayers money, not embarrassment for Trump.
