A simple fact; when a business does well, it is able to do more for it's employees. If it is failing, it has to cut jobs or benefits to stay in business.

AND THAT, my friend, is NOT a simple fact. You are making the same dumb assumption that so many people make. That assumption is that when a business does well it actually DOES SOMETHING for it's employees and THAT is a fallacy.

Isn't that the same ol' tired trickle down theory?? If my boss does well, I will do well?? The problem is that "I" will only do well IF MY BOSS decides to share the wealth. Key word: IF.
Money doesn't trickle down unless the BOSS decides to let it trickle. We hear their theme song every single day. "I can't afford higher wages or benefits."
This is the same BOSS MAN who owns several homes, cars, boats, country club memberships, and sends his kids to private schools.
Having said all that, YES. There are BOSSES who are generous. There are BOSSES who share the wealth. Their wealth trickles down to their employees, but those BOSSES are not the norm. Unfortunately most BOSSES are just greedy enough to keep the profits from EVER getting to the bottom rung.

Who has all the offshore bank accounts, Joe Average or the 1%? Let them answer that one honestly in terms of trickle-down.

Obviously, I didn't make my point. I'm not concerned about WHO has a billion dollars. I'm concerned about those BILLIONAIRES who have never struggled to make a house payment, never missed a meal, never worried about how to pay for their medications, never had to choose between Spam or a can of tuna. I'm concerned about people running our nation who have never personally experienced poverty, homelessness, chronic illness, tainted water, violent neighborhoods, joblessness or want of any kind. I am concerned about billionaires who already have undue influence over every aspect of our nation....and who really don't give a crap about those who have nothing.

A country will always be better off run by billionaires than by those who want to confiscate billionaire's money.

Ayn Rand approves this message.

But she was fucking crazy and changed her mind when she ended up needing help.

I should have added Canadians who cannot mind their own business and have no idea that no one cares about their opinions regarding America other than socialists. Lying about Rand of not much of an argument.
Thanks from Sabcat and coke

Jimmy's got nothing (again) so he insults me for being a Canadian and calls me a liar.

But that's just the vintage Jimmy we all know and expect.

You're talking about people you don't know and condemning them soley on the evidence they have more money than you.....

Stop being so desperate and lying. That will fix that problem. You deserve any insult you get because you start off with them. Stop insulting me and that will be the end of that.
