Voting has had a lack of transparency since the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) was implemented 2003/4, which dumped 3.5 Billion in private voting machines onto the states. Ever since then lawsuits have been brought regarding questionable outcomes.

To imply and/or say outright that voters allowed this state of affairs to happen is to say a human a society which has been dumbed down for a good fifty years, and then lied-to hard-core since the FCC removed the Fairness Doctrine, deserves what they get, when in reality, the voters are hapless recipients of a corrupted and illegitimate system. I really do hate it when people blame the victim.

All the more reason to NOT have republicans in control. BTW, it's NOT envy, it's disgust, that people live in opulence made possible by the hard work of the under paid workers that made it possible for them to live in luxury, and the contractors the liar trump and all like him stiffed out of their money.

A simple fact; when a business does well, it is able to do more for it's employees. If it is failing, it has to cut jobs or benefits to stay in business.
A more truthful fact, when an employer pays his employees well, they can afford to buy his products or services and both are happy,

Isn't that the same ol' tired trickle down theory?? If my boss does well, I will do well?? The problem is that "I" will only do well IF MY BOSS decides to share the wealth. Key word: IF.
Money doesn't trickle down unless the BOSS decides to let it trickle. We hear their theme song every single day. "I can't afford higher wages or benefits."
This is the same BOSS MAN who owns several homes, cars, boats, country club memberships, and sends his kids to private schools.
Having said all that, YES. There are BOSSES who are generous. There are BOSSES who share the wealth. Their wealth trickles down to their employees, but those BOSSES are not the norm. Unfortunately most BOSSES are just greedy enough to keep the profits from EVER getting to the bottom rung.
My son in law works for a company that pays its employees very well, they get good health insurance, a healthy bonus every Christmas and every one of the children of each employee gets a check for their birthday. The owners of the company live very well and have all the toys they want. Costco and Cobani are two more companies that prove that you can pay the employees well, give great benefits and still be prosperous.
Thanks from Clara007

What is a business suppose to do, other than pay a wage for labor?

But that's just the vintage Jimmy we all know and expect.
Little jimmyb is just jealous, he is a nothing and wants everyone else to be on his level like every typical right wing loser needing to blame someone else for their failures in life. Personally, I never met a Canadian who was disrespectful but I've met a lot of right wingers and Texassians in particular who couldn't spell respect let alone be respectful.

Clara is not the President and has no need to be transparent with her business dealings. The liar trump and every politician should be transparent concerning their income, charities, and all accounts domestic and off shore.

So, I'll assume Newsweek is a house organ of the Democratic Party these days, if they're going to tell us the billlionaires who own America are all on Trump's side! The net result is regardless of which of the official parties they support, it's rule by the rich for the rich!
This was not about billionaires in general it was about billionaires in the liar trump's cabinet. If a Democrat or anyone one else installed nothing but billionaires in their cabinet it would be just as bad. Millionaires and billionaires from the non right aren't as greedy as those from the right, Buffet being a good example.
