On this one, I had to spend a few minutes clicking the mouse before he got me to a page informing me that MOAB is a mostly in-house project of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Oklahoma, and was designed at the Air Force Research Laboratory, and according to the vitals, the profit-taking contractors are there, but hidden from plain site:

McAlester Army Ammunition Plant | Military Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia
GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast | Military Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia
And, each one costs about 16 million a piece...money well spent? Spam/spyware rightwing hack site Newsmax is carping about social media putting the story out that it cost 314 million (well, actually Newsmax can't even get that right! They're claiming 340 million)...regardless, that total cost is just as important as how much it costs to drop each one of these stupid things. Other analysts tell us that the physics of these super non-nuclear bombs makes no sense! Since it's an open air/not a burrowing ordinance designed to explode underground, the job of destroying everything within a certain perimeter could more effectively...and more cheaply be done by dropping a greater number of the equivalent smaller ordnance, and with much less collateral damage, since we were informed yesterday that blast effects of this device could injure and even cause death to people up to 2 miles away...so take CNN's bullshit story of "killing 36 Al Qaeda" with a gran of salt!

One of the Military.com stories on the bomb even noted the inflation of weapons being used in war now, pointing out that the average cost of bombs used in the Iraq Invasion was about $12,000 a piece. Maybe the silver lining of the story is that weapons of death will get so expensive, America will no longer be able to afford to conduct wars and invasions all over the goddammed place!

Cause you can guarantee that if the bombmaker has got the deep pockets of the US treasury to pay 314 million to them that they have been behind the scenes lobbying for someone/anyone to drop at least one...and maybe more, so that they can keep the production going and the money coming in!
Now your going on a rant about the cost of bombs? Seriously? You fucking Socialist vermin are fucking hilarious

The video I saw of the bomb drop showed it in very close proximity to a village, I suspect there was a lot of damage to the village which could have cost the lives of innocents.
Well, maybe he can throw in some US citizens to drone strike to! Just like your God Obomber did

We don't know the intelligence or the timing of the MOAB drop. The body count could go much higher.

Fucking rightwing hack! You know goddammed well that I've gone after Obama for that and a lot, lot more! I even posted the one before about Obama's 26,000+ mostly unaccounted drone and bomb strikes, while he was still in office, while you were waiting for CFR to mention it apparently!

I don't support unprincipled leaders who lie and betray declared stated principles. I've said many times before also that the blind obedience to disingenuous centrist Democrats like Clinton and Obama have caused more harm to the rest of the world, as well as more damage to poor and working class Americans at home, because it's the Democrat like Clinton who gets NAFTA, Glass-Steagall, privatizing public schools, promising/then renegging on ending private for-profit prisons....there are reasons why Donald Trump occupies the White House today, and they're not about Russia, James Comey, Bernie Bro's or whatever other stupid excuses they came up with! 2016 was a bad year to abandon the working class for the professional liberal yuppies in New York and California, and America...and now the rest of the world have to pay the price for it!

And when it comes to geopolitics, Trump is all of a sudden finding favour among the Neocon crowd in Washington, including Democrats, who were fighting against him and putting loads of cash behind the Clinton Campaign..WHY? Because Trump is too lazy to do the hard work of following up on any of his bullshit rhetoric during the campaign about less intervention abroad. Instead, Trump is going to continue the good times for Raytheon and all the other rat-bastards that profit from death and destruction!

And how long will we have to wait to find out what civilian casualties were from this test? Early on it was reported that 86,000 people were living within the perimeter zone affected by blast damage.
The most powerful country in the world drops a giant bomb on one of the poorest countries in the world to try to kill the terrorists they financed and supported in the 80's. CIA even oversaw the building of those tunnels during the Afghan Civil War.

How do you count bodies after an 11 ton bomb hits?

These people were supposed to be hiding in a tunnel network, that is probably largely collapsed now.

So how do you count them?
