Trump to make American justice great again

Trump says he may break up 9th Circuit Court after rulings go against him

He doesn't like how they play so he's going to fire them all. And he knows how after all that time at The Apprentice.

Quote:
President Trump is considering breaking up the 9th Circuit Court after a federal district court judge in its jurisdiction blocked his order to withhold funding from "sanctuary cities."

In a Wednesday interview with the Washington Examiner, Trump said "there are many people who want to break up the 9th Circuit. It's outrageous."

In the interview, Trump accused liberals of "judge-shopping" for a court that would strike down his executive order.

"I mean, the language on the ban, it reads so easy that a reasonably good student in the first grade will fully understand it. And they don't even mention the words in their rejection on the ban," Trump said.

Trump claimed the court oversteps its authority and that his opponents "immediately run" to the court for "semi-automatic" rulings.

The 9th Circuit earlier this year blocked Trump's executive order that barred immigration from certain Muslim-majority countries and banned all Syrian refugees from the U.S. for a period of time.
Earlier Wednesday, Trump railed against the 9th Circuit over a judge blocking his order withholding funds from sanctuary cities.

They may be the only court that hears his appeal after he's imprisoned.

He's not going to win his anti Muslim war to appease his base of low rent white trash. He's been in office for 100 days with absolutely zero to show for it. Which is completely beside the point. He started a war with the judiciary, and the intelligence community from day one. Going to prison or facing impeachment are very real possibilities for him, members of his family, and administration.

The Ninth Circuit needs to be broken up. Eighty percent of the Ninth Circuit's cases that are appealed are overturned.

Jeeeezuz Jimmy. Nothing like perpetuating a highly distorted and out of context talking point. A whopping 1/10th of one percent of cases are appealed to the higher court. SCOTUS reviews an average of 65 -70 cases a year from ALL the circuit courts. The 9th circuit handled more than 12,000 cases last year. The MOST of any of the circuit courts, almost twice as many as the next busiest court. You should know better

Why would he be imprisoned? And if he were imprisoned, why would any appeal be in the 9th Circuit? And why wouldn't SCOTUS hear it then?

IOW, you are clueless, bitter, and a hater.

Well, that would certainly be the argument or justification of breaking it up. Actually, from what I understand, the term breaking up is misleading. Actually, it would be splitting up the 9th circuit and adding another circuit. That is why the 12000 case number you cited is important. That number makes a good excuse to do that. Of, course the real reason would be political. It would break up a liberal majority, and allow Trump to appoint even more judges that favor the right political spectrum.

You are mixing the numbers up. The Ninth Circuit, just like the Supreme Court, only takes X number of cases. The 12,000 are appeals, not opinions. They still have an 80% overturn rate at the Supreme Court.

The number of cases appealed to the Ninth Circuit shows that there are far too many federal laws and far too much federal jurisdiction.

Do you not think this statement of yours is reason enough to break the court up?
Thanks from caconservative, Sabcat and Bentley
