ROFLMBO.
Impeachment actually means "indictment". The House hears the charges ( called 'articles', and votes on those articles. If two thirds of the House agree to it, the President is now "impeached".
The case would then go to the Senate, who acts as a jury on the impeachment charges. Again, two thirds world have to agree to find the President guilty to remove him from office.
TN is correct in that the Senate has no role in the impeachment proceeding. Their only role is as the jury, when and if such impeachment comes before it!
Bill Clinton was the last President to be impeached. He was not removed by the Senate. We older members remember it, but you youngsters probably don't.

Yes house impeaches SENATE REMOVES. the senate has no dealings with the impeachment process

And if the House impeaches and the Senate Removes or does not remove, IS NO INDICATION that the person is innocent or guilty of the charges

Remember the HOUSE impeached Clinton, the senate did not remove, But Clinton pleaded Guilty to all Charges that were issued in the impeachment on January 21, 2001 the day AFTER he left office in federal court in a his plea bargain with IC Ray

Impeachment and removal are political processes, not the trial process.

The sitting president cannot be charged by the courts of a crime thus must be impeached and removed before the actual charges can be made and the trial conducted to determine innocence or guilt.

This is what I have been telling my impeachment happy friends. It's just going to happen! The most they can hope for is that Trump's cabinet invokes the 25th Amendment in response to something. Other than that, the next Presidential election, he can be voted out!

That cannot happen unliess trump is subject to a failed assassination attempt leaving him where he cannot serve, or some other medical event.

everyone knows Trump is an asshat he isn't crazy or incapacitated.

Legally, it can be invoked by a Presidential Cabinet for anything they wish to invoke it for! There is no legal requirement as to the reasoning why.
I'm just saying that it won't happen unless Trump does something really off base. It would have to be something that would pass off 80 to 90%of Republican base voters, which would scare the hell out of incumbent Republicans.

I have a sneaky suspicion Trump is going to run as an independent come 2020. At one point he will decide that the Republican Establishment is a bigger enemy than the Democrats and go Independent....with 30 to 35% support he stands a damned good chance oof pulling it off...

Many around the Con believe that he is in the early stages of dementia. If this is the case, 2020 is out of the question.

No he isn’t. Even his small base is shrinking. A run as an independent would split the vote amongst Republicans. The Con will not be physically or mentally fit to run in 2020. Hell, I don’t think he will serve the full four years of this term.
