Donald Trump is an adulterer. He has "put away" or divorced his past two wives, and adultery is one of the Ten Commandments, and Trump is unrepetant of that sin of divorcing the wife of his youth Ivanka to trollop off with the next two women.

I am not a Christian. But if I were, this would be a great starting point for me to say with any kind of Biblical knowledge that Trump is not holy, but is a sinner who is going to hell. Yes, God sent and gave America Donald Trump as President, but not a blessing, but a curse to an adulterous country. Trump is a curse, now Christians and other religious people would say that Trump is a God curse, or Rationalists concluding that Trump is a curse from ourselves and our own stupidity.

But these religious idiots laying hands on Trump instead of denouncing him shows how little they know about the Bible.
It's called cognitive dissonance. When fact and belief collide. I truly never thought the evangelicals would vote for him. He IS an adulterer, with multiple wives and only God knows how many affairs. He IS a corrupt business man, just ask any of the hundreds if not thousands of small contractors that have had to sue him to get their money. He has never shown himself to be religious. Until he started running for office I can't remember ever seeing him in church. At least not on a regular basis. I believe he is completely amoral, corrupt and a con man.

And yet millions of people who call themselves Christian, and more importantly those that call themselves evangelical, set aside their personal religious beliefs to put this man in office.

It's causing a little cognitive dissonance in my brain trying to comprehend it all.

I understand why the bread and butter conservatives voted for him. Most of them only consider themselves to be somewhat to moderately religious. So they could easily set aside their religious leanings and vote for Trump. But the evangelicals ??? That just blows my mind.

They don't care about scripture like this.

They only care when it mentions something about condemning gay people.
Thanks from McCoy

Maybe you can help me out. I'm just wondering about our RW posters....most of who claim to be Christian or at least moral people, but we've had several opportunities on DTT (more than several) to start threads that deal with morals, ethics, laws, Bible, religion, etc. We've had discussions about right and wrong. We've had discussions about world religions, including Islam--and of course the Right has LOTS to say about that--and abortion--and the stupidity of the Left, but why don't they want to discuss their faith? Their Chrisitan love? The commandments? The gospel of love? Jesus's teachings?

Our atheists chime in pretty regularly. Our doubting Thomases add their 2 cents, but not our Trump supporters? Our Obama haters? Our Clinton haters? Why?

AND yet, here is another thread about Christianity, our president's Christian faith and those who find Trump to be a great Christian president. The laying of hands on a sitting president. Praying. Blessing. Wouldn't we expect to have LOTS of RW Christians commenting on this thread??
But only two RW posters have commented. Cacon says he agrees with everything Trump says--no comment about a weak, faithless, lying wreck of a president---just praise for what he said, and Sabcat who offers up his usual baby pablum.

Why doesn't the RW want to talk about the tenets of Christianity? Why don't they defend the Christian side of this presidency? Anyone? Come on, Trumpsters. Let's see some righteous indignation here! Defend your Christian president. Tell us how decent, humble and honest he is. Remind us of his faithfulness--his kindness--his fair play--love for mankind. His moral responsibility. Convince us of your devotion to this "Christian" man.
Thanks from tristanrobin

I am sure nobody Christian faith on God, Lord and Jesus Christ they only praying or are atheist as me from Buddhism.

I liked Trump Before I know him friend from Russia Putin hacking latest election and it's not fair to hacker therefore for me now mr Clinton or Sanders or Pence but it can be Sessions I'm feeling good with one of these four how is magnifics in history but if Trump is president he should going down with forces them cut up bigger reserves finally begin a second Vietnam's against theirs World biggest reserve with our reserve Marines this I will with Trump and perhaps too with ms Clinton.

A war US forces can win as same like Iraq war 2003 and of course 2004 US ally and US troops done magnific job. Trump's lucky eyes if he not get to Court with Putin's helping he last election. We promise Sanders next election if Trump haven't unlucky in Court latest august in begin. M.Obama get her lucky in election 2024 if Trump get his solution so long bit and with war I expected me in Vietnam's.
