It turns medical conditions into bankruptcies, and then the taxpayers pay for the treatment of the poor.

Insurance costs less, because people don't use it, if they do use it, they lose it.

That kind of insurance only works for the unknown, once it's known you have a medical condition, or a genetic predisposition that makes a condition likely, the market drops you.

Trump is not only a jackass--he's a vindictive jackass.

The GOP failed, because they couldn't produce a replacement for ObamaCare that was better than ObamaCare.

That's the bottom line.

If they had a scheme that insured more people, cost less and delivered more, ObamaCare would be gone.
They don't have such a plan, they've had 7 years to work on it, and they got nothing.

As bad as ObamaCare is, the GOP is incapable of coming up with something better.

Still, only 7 percent of the American people get their insurance through the individual market.

The other 93% just didn't get the memo.
And of that 93% 7,255,864 are illegal immigrants.

Nuff said.

Obamacare should have been a successful replacement from the beginning.

The insurance companies have stated several times it is the obstruction from Republicans, that has led to the instability of the markets they have attempted to participate in.

A public option was in the original plan but was voted down.

There was never an option to negotiate drug prices.

Hold out states refused to open exchanges.

Hold out states refused to expand Medicaid coverage.

These are the problems that have hurt the ACA, and they are willfull acts of sabotage, not issues related to the workings of the plan itself.
Thanks from McCoy

We've NEVER had a free, open market health care system. Please Great Sage, point me to a time when we did.

Who's deluded? Read the damned statement. Has the U.S. ever had a free, open market health care system? The answer to that would be a resounding NO!
