My most fervent prayer would be that America would wake up to their game. In the Political Class there is no Right or Left. That's just something that has been foisted on the people.

It's no "accident" that the ACA wasn't repealed, it will be no "accident" that the wall will never be built, or that there will be no "Tax Reform".

The economy is doing great. Wall Street is doing great. Trump is creating policies to entice corporations to move back here so we can have more jobs. The tax reform will put more money in people's pockets. Trump's twitter comments is actually reinforcing our ability for free speech in this country. Trump's wants to deport all illegals involved in criminal activity.
This is just for starters so I wonder why so many people are in denial of the very things everyone wanted from a President that hate him?

Clearly the great fault of Trump is that he has revealed the incredible inability of so many Americans to see through a loud-mouthed, ignorant, spoilt cry-baby who is incompetent at everything except cheating others out of money. It was better when you kept these horrors in the cellar.

Speaking about him as a person, I find him to be a symbol - if you will - of the decadence of our society and how far we have fallen as a civilization. If you want proof of the decay, then look no further than the White House. We've elected a reality TV star. It's poetry, really. You couldn't write a better movie script if you tried. I think that some people try to laud him as some sort of savior of higher ideals but I think that's a little off the mark when you really think about it. He represents the absolute absurdity of the American Dream. In some ways he is the American Dream, and that is what is so absurd. To think that a triple-divorcee multi-millionaire who has truly never put nose to grindstone in his life will save this country morally is delusional. Point-blank.

Politically? I think he's selling snake oil. I know a lot of people believe this but I truly think so, and I think it should mean something that at one point I was behind him. I think that he's sold a bag of goods to a lot of people and he can't hope to appease them all, so he'll appease the big money. He got elected off the backs of very dissatisfied people who had legitimate gripes and he won't deliver on anything. I think immigration control is practical. I don't think that we as a country can afford to continue to let people in this country as we face an increasingly automated future. When everyone is out of a job, how will we distribute the money? Will we even do anything? Will it be a free-for-all? These are the questions and the thoughts that Trump and his successors need to answer before it's too late. Automation is an elephant in the room that no one wants to acknowledge.

Really the only thing that grinds my gears is his stance on national parks. It really does irk me. I'm tired of seeing modernist architecture and pathetic McMansions and I'm tired of seeing "development funds" and I'm tired of seeing forests bulldozed for a Walmart. It's sickening.
Thanks from imaginethat

I find his personality to be that of an Asshole, But most people that are successful are assholes to some extent or another.

That is one why he has been successful as POTUS he knows when to be an Asshole and not.

But has he been successful? I don't really think so. Even as a businessman his ventures are very hit-and-miss. His casinos in Atlantic City bombed, for instance.

I do

1. he has overturned 1000s of Obama era regulations

this has created economic growth we have not seen since Bush Was POTUS 2006.

2. He has secured the borders illegal crossings have decreased >50%

Which is something he ran on

3. He has limitd immigration from states that sponsor terror.

Which is what he ran on.

4. Tax REform (seems to be happening)

5. increasing median incomes.

median incomes are up 4% in 8 months.

6. Getting people back to work

a) Unemployment is the lowest in 16 years.
b) the employment unlike under Obama is full time employment U6 is at a 10 year low
c) employment participation rate is lowest in 10 years.

7) 100s of billions of foreign investment has been made in the US thanks to is deregulation and upcoming tax reform

All of this is still technically from Obama. It won't be until we see the full impact of Trump's policies. And I don't necessarily think that those are good things. Call me a hippie but I believe in protecting the environment.

Cite your sources. Obama deported the most illegal immigrants of any President. I'm suspicious of this claim.

And how well did that go? I believe the Administration is in court for this?

How is this a good thing? Tax reform for the upper class...

Prove it.

Yeah, all because of tax breaks for these companies and hiking taxes on us. And how is deregulation a good thing? I don't think it is.
