Calling the Bush presidency destructive is controversial now?

I have no idea WHO wrote the speech, but I'd like to THANK him/her.
I am not a fan of W. But his speech was not what people are trying to make.it out to be. Listen to it.

That's alright. We're witnessing the utter destruction of the Republican party. It won't be the Democrats that suffer at the hands of Bannon and his ilk.

Bannon has declared war on all the moderate Republicans for not being "conservative enough". So he's targeting them and running his hand picked uber conservative against them in their primaries.

Where the wheels are gong to fall off the wagon is in the general election. About 1/3 of voters will always vote Democrat. Another 1/3 will always vote Republican. The last third are NOT hard core conservatives. They are the middle ground, right leaning Democrats, left leaning Republicans and independent voters. You know, the ones THAT ALWAYS decide the elections. If Bannon succeeds in putting hard line, ultra conservative, even alt-right and fundamentalist religious people in place of the more moderate republicans, they're going to lose the elections. Those middle of the roaders are simply not going to vote for those kind of extremists.

Just look at Alabama. Alabama has been a solid red state for more than 30 years. Yet the Democrats are running a candidate that, according to polls, is in a dead heat with Moore. That just shouldn't be. A Dem, even a moderate one, having a chance in Alabama should be a physical and statistical impossibility. Yet here we are. Even for a conservative state, Moore is just too extreme.

If Bannon succeeds in other states, he could hand both houses of congress to the Democrats.
Thanks from Camelot

Well, looks like he decided to send out the big gun against him.
