Bannon's latest outburst

You may have noticed (assuming you haven't been dead the last two years) that Dotard tends to vindictively tweet against any slight or perceived insult. And yet after W crapped all over him in the speech the other day - nothing.

WTF?

Well, looks like he decided to send out the big gun against him.

Quote:
Steve Bannon attacks George W. Bush for ‘destructive’ presidency

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Former White House adviser Steve Bannon depicted former President George W. Bush as bumbling and inept, faulting him for presiding over a “destructive” presidency during his time in the White House.

Bannon’s scathing remarks on Friday night amounted to a retort to a Bush speech in New York earlier this week, in which the 43rd president denounced bigotry in Trump-era American politics and warned that the rise of “nativism,” isolationism and conspiracy theories have clouded the nation’s true identity.

Bannon is a drunkard with an inflated view of his own importance.

Is that what Bush was talking about? I couldn't tell what he was rambling on about.

So far I've read about his speech in 5 different forms of media and talked about it with at least 15 people.

Out of all of that, you are the only one too dense to see what is obvious to everyone else.
Thanks from Hollywood

He did say this

Quote:

America is not immune from these trends. In recent decades, public confidence in our institutions has declined. Our governing class has often been paralyzed in the face of obvious and pressing needs. The American dream of upward mobility seems out of reach for some who feel left behind in a changing economy. Discontent deepened and sharpened partisan conflicts. Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication.
There are some signs that the intensity of support for democracy itself has waned, especially among the young, who never experienced the galvanizing moral clarity of the Cold War, or never focused on the ruin of entire nations by socialist central planning. Some have called this “democratic deconsolidation.” Really, it seems to be a combination of weariness, frayed tempers, and forgetfulness.
We have seen our discourse degraded by casual cruelty. At times, it can seem like the forces pulling us apart are stronger than the forces binding us together. Argument turns too easily into animosity. Disagreement escalates into dehumanization. Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions – forgetting the image of God we should see in each other.

Well, as his approval ratings keep going up and up and up (which were already high during his Presidency), I would say quite a few Americans care what he thinks.

That's because he does.

Unlike our current Dotard-in-Chief.

I have no idea WHO wrote the speech, but I'd like to THANK him/her.
