Roy Moore is far from dead in Alabama

I again wonder about the accuracy of the polls showing R. Moore lagging the Democrat candidate in the Senate race.

Two man in the street type of interviews show otherwise. Of course in this type of thing were the reporters cherrypicking, but here they are.

(Oh Crap, I'm reduced to quoting Breitbart but I can't find the a better link to the ABC story.)

Quote:
Alabama ABC Affiliate Can’t Find One Voter Who Believes WaPo Report About Roy Moore in Man-on-the-Street Segment

During a segment that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Birmingham, AL ABC affiliate WBMA 33/40’s 5 p.m. local news, political reporter Lauren Walsh sought out voters in Columbiana, AL to gauge their reactions to the Washington Post report that alleged Republican

And some gems from an NBC series of man-in-the-street interviews:

Quote:
"Oh, he’s going to win, I’m sure of it," said Ricky Ousley, a 57-year-old owner of a lawn-care company who voted for Moore in both the primary and runoff.

"The media tries to control everything but won’t win this time," he added. "This whole thing done nothing but lit up Alabamians."
And then, echoing the 5th avenue comment:

Inside the store, a man who declined to give his name said, "This is Republican town, man. (Moore) could have killed Obama, and we wouldn't care."

Good Christians are forgiving and don't hold something that happened 40 years ago over someone's head. You leftists should have learned from all the crap that's backfired in your faces when you try to destroy someone's character.

I hold something that happened 40 years ago over someones head. It has to be proven true however.

But you never seem to apply that to Democrats. Aren't you one of the ones always bringing up Ed Kennedy?

I believe it was twice in one thread. That's just a deflection from the thrust of my post. But you know that.

It may have been 40 years since he diddled the 14 year old, but he's lying his ass off NOW! That's the lack of character showing.
And this runs for another month before the vote, the polls show things moving in Jones' direction.

This is a seat that wasn't on the radar, that suddenly looks doable.

I agree with that, forty years ago is a LONG time ago, but what is the statute of limitations on holding something over someone's head?

But BSF, the left has no monopoly on trying to destroy someone's character. The left isn't the majority stockholder in fact.

I grew up in the South. Moore gives me that same wrong feeling that Sessions does.
