I am and always have been an "evangelical christian," and I don't buy any of today's loud-mouthed right-wing pseudo-spiritual BS. The truth is that there were probably as many "evangelical christians" who voted for Obama and Hilllary as for Mitt Romney and for Donald Trump; and FYI Trump himself is not one of us. Please try to keep in mind that DT won in the Electoral College with less than 50% of the electorate. I was one of those "hypocrites" who voted against him, as did my wife and my adult offspring.

Could we please NOT be such naive pseudo-intellectuals bigots who we believe every person who bears an assigned label must of necessity be of the same solitary robotic mind. That would be like saying that "all Atheists must be immoral perverts because they reject the concept of sin and accountability to God." Let's not thump our chests while wallowing in the ridiculous.

Dear god, a little recognition and consideration for individuality.
Point taken Asimov. I think in this case the article was aimed at the 81% of the evangelical base of support for Trump that is also in support of Moore.

That does leave 19% of evangelicals that didn't.

The ones who look to excuse the despicable allegations directed at Roy Moore by literally quoting the bible, comparing his molestation to Joseph and Mary.

I give you the most hypocritical religious group in America, Evangelical Christians.

Something is wrong with those people because they won't find God in a Church, Temple or Mosque. I own a 25 acre parcel of ground next to Brad the Preacherman's mega church and he wants to expand his church. Nothing I have is for sale at any price but the preacherman keeps trying. The last time he came here I did not answer the door. The preacherman sic'd the Fire Department on me. The firemen went to his church and I told them tell Brad to stay away. If the preacherman comes back I will give him a rude awakening.

Yes. I agree. "Lets stop tarring everyone with the same brush!" says everybody in principle, but no practices.
(Just an observation of everybody with no one in particular in mind)

Okay. I never thought it, but you said it. Was there anyone in this thread that did make this comparison between the two?

Clinton is yesterday. The Republican President and Moore are today and tomorrow.
From my observations, there is no such thing as yesterday's political scandal in politics concerning a living statesman.

There is for people like RNG, he's as big a perv as Clinton is so he will do or say anything to protect him. I wouldn't let either of them close to any children n my family.

Moore isn't in a court of law, the statute of limitations has expired, so he won't be in court with a charge. So he is innocent, he won't be going to prison.

Now, as far as his reputation goes.
He can bring a court case, sue the people accusing him, if his accusers are lying, that's what he'll do, that's what he's entitled to, If his accusers are being paid off to lie, he could recover some huge damage awards.

If he did do all that shit, he won't go to court, because that would just prove that he's a piece of shit.
