Corker's flip-flop explained

Bob Corker, a Republican Senator from Tennessee made a show of criticizing Trump’s agenda, and he was the only Republican to vote against the Senate version of the tax bill, citing deficit concerns. Since he is retiring, many thought that was a position of country over party and congratulated him.

All of a sudden he is going to vote for it.

This is probably why.

Quote:
Corker made his announcement two hours before the text of the tax bill was made public. In the 503-page text was a new provision that was not in the House or Senate legislation. It would specifically benefit real estate investors who operate “pass-through” businesses. This group includes President Trump — and also Bob Corker, who “has millions of dollars of ownership stakes in real-estate related LLCs that could also benefit” from the new provision.

The savings to Corker could be substantial, according to the Center for Economic and Policy Research.

So Corker's stated reasons should be considered a lie?

Reason why the Economy is Growing at a rate >2.0%

All that has to happen for the Tax plan to be REVENUE NEUTRAL is the economy grow >0.4% GDP above 2016 GDP Growth which was a WHOPPING 1,6%.. (We are currently Growing at 3.3% annual GDP.. )

so at 3.3% GDP Growth, the new tax plan is GROWING REVEUE and for every 0.1% above 2.0 the deficit will decline 70 billion dollars.
