The breakdown of rightists' connection to logic and reality is progressing faster than climate change.

It's amazing. It's as if they don't even read the posts of others and if they do they are simply not bright enough to comprehend and then formulate a logical response based on reality.

You can say THAT again! And I'm going to change the subject a bit to Rand Paul. I know...I know....weird, right? I don't even LIKE Rand Paul, but last night
Paul took the senate floor by storm. From what I've read MOST of the GOP rolled their eyes (nobody likes Randy) and thought "what a pain in the butt".

BUT...I bet you can guess what Paul wanted to talk about. Hypocrisy. Republican HYPOCRISY. Here is one of the tweets that followed:

"Tonight, you could feel the frustration and embarrassment growing in Congress as we exposed the hypocrisy of Republicans who are joining in an unholy alliance and spending free-for-all with Democrats at the expense of the American people and our party’s supposed principles."

Let's talk a stroll down memory lane. WHAT did the GOP RANT about 5 years ago?? OMG! Obama's spending. Obama's budget. Obama's debt. Obama's deficit. Up UP and AWAY!

Back to the present. What happened to the GOP?? Well, first they supported a GUY who LOVES debt. Trump refers to himself as the “King of Debt,” a title intended to demonstrate his deep understanding and experience with it. And he does have experience: Trump has made use of debt, and U.S. bankruptcy laws, liberally throughout his career. So when TRUMP hijacked the presidency (with their support) the GOP HAD TO KNOW what was coming. It was just a matter of time.

Next. The new tax plan--it's YUUUUGE--and it also sucks the life out of a balanced budget. AND BTW, Rand Paul VOTED for the tax bill. More than $1 trillion will be added to the debt.
Now. The GOP seems completely unconcerned about the national debt, the multi-billion dollar WALL, the increase in military spending, and infrastructure.

Personally, I could give a flying fig about increased spending. My POINT--once again--is the glaring hypocrisy of the Right. HOW can anyone in good conscience support a party who has completely lost their way--their stance on policy--their commitment to family values AND.....their laughable fiscal responsibility.
Thanks from tristanrobin and Hollywood
