But having in the region of a thousand pending litigations should cause a reasonable person pause.

There was some sort of settlement agreement, which involved requirements having to do with placing ads stating that black or minority applicants were welcomed, and there was an attempt to counter-sue the government for defamation that wasn't successful; is that what you mean by "he lost"?

I don't think I could say that this proves that anyone is guilty. Sometimes people settle things just to get things over with. Trump is a business man, and business men & women tend to look at the bottom line or what not to minimize any losses.
