Remind You of Anybody ... ?

Does this Monty-Python inspired sketch with Patrick Stewart remind you of anybody today?

& why not? TMK, the members of Monty Python were certainly not royalists; granted that their in-jokes on UK politics tended to be fairly opaque to US audiences - unless you closely followed those issues. I can't be sure - because some of the political references simply went by too fast - but Monty seemed to skewer everyone & every party with glee - they simply took their absurdity wherever they found it.

Still, the main actors & writers & producers of Monty certainly favored an anarchic POV, if not outright Socialism or Communism. @ the very least, I expect that they favored Labour over the Tories.

Color me unimpressed. When both sides can mock their long held cherished beliefs without any input from the opposing side, then this skit might be monty python worthy. As it is, it is still the old rehash of our current culture wars here in The west for which side is the most virtuous.
In essence, we've lost our sense of humor.
Thanks from Sabcat and Bad Ass

They wouldn't allow "All in the Family" either.

I think Rush is really funny. Trump is finny at times, more than any President I can remember. His exaggerations are on purpose.
