The epitome of fake news. There are tens of thousands of foreign nationals in the US armed forces, 40 of them failed background checks.

Leftists here are supporting allowing ms13 gang members to infiltrate our military.

The kicker is this: the people he's breaking the US's word to are THE KIND OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SERVE AMERICA AND BE GOOD AMERICANS. Trump isn't fit to lick the boots of a single one of those soldiers.
Once the commander in chief breaks a pact with the citizen soldiers, he has abdicated his moral authority to hold that position. This is the logical conclusion of a grifter that never had any moral authority to begin with.

better info here than that provided by the Trump derangement corps.

Since Sept. 11, 2001, more than 109,000 troops have gained their citizenship by serving in the U.S. military.

I was in the Navy as a reservist at age 17 as a recruit E-1 for 6 mos. going to meetings etc until I went to boot camp. I knew that I wouldn't be really in the Navy till I graduated Boot camp and was promoted to E-2. The immigrant program is no different except that they seem to be given more leeway for study etc as shown by the complainants.
If it hasn't already been done I'd like to see it extended to Dreamers as well. After passing the same background checks as any other recruit of course.

Your Trump derangement makes you seem less and less credible the more we see here.
I went in the NAVY Reserve in 1967....I did 2 weeks boot camp at Great Lakes and then sat on a DE down in Philly for 2 weeks (kiddy cruise)....THEN I was told by a Chief I had to qualify for an A School, or I was out of the Reserves and back in the draft....

Note....that was after I went to boot-camp.. So the Reserves could throw you out even after boot camp if you did not qualify for A School....You could not be a non-designated striker in the Reserves..

Were you told you would get that A school after boot if you qualified? Was the Chief in your surface Division? I didn't know there was a non-designated striker classification in the Navy. On one of the ships I eas on we'd see people who weren't designated placed in the OI div from Deck or Snipes to get them to reup. Designated strikers were those who qualified and were waiting for a class date. After boot I want back to my surface Div and was sent to ETA school from there as an ACDUTRA. School didn't count on my active duty obligation. Usually if you had a promise of a particular MOS for enlisting but blew it for any number of reasons you could opt out or be released. One of my sons had that experience, he signed up for a particular MOS and during boot learned he wouldn't qualify due to color perception issues. They tried to get him to resign and he refused. Had to go to San Diego and literally rescue him by requesting a meet with the recruit base commander.
I also learned the Chiefs, particularly the left over WWII guys cruising to retirement were masters at slinging BS and would tell you anything and simply allow you to think it was gospel. If you sqawked about it your file was marked and you were cooked. These antics were one of the main reasons I got out after my tour.

I'll vouch for the part about the WWII Chiefs slinging BS...Years later one of these guys became a close friend....Chief Smiley....he had a perpetual shit-eating grin on his face..Swore me in 3 times... Drank Beaucoupe beer with the old Chief...

I got an A School within a month of coming back from boot-camp/kiddie cruise....Chief asked me what I wanted, promised me radioman, engineman, machinist mate.... I told him I wanted to drive a bulldozer....He laughed and said "You are going to Vietnam!!"...I'll never forget thinking "I proved I could avoid it, but could I live with myself if I did??"....Got a Builder A School a month later.....

You'll love this...after BU A School, I went to Steelworker A School in Port Hueneme Ca. and was double rated and then went to Marine prior service boot camp in Camp Pendleton... Then got sent to 3rd Marine Division at Dong Ha RVN... So much for getting in the NAVY Reserve to avoid ending up with the Marines and going to Vietnam...
