Trump breaking US Government promises to troops

Can't trust any agreements/treaties/contracts with a US Government spearheaded by the pathological liar and thief!

Here the chickenhawk brings more dishonor on the USA by breaking the country's word to it's own soldiers. But then again....RW chickenhawks don't care about soldiers.

The lawsuits are already rolling....Too bad the money for the lost lawsuits will come out of the US Government's pocket, when it's the orange haired buffoon pushing this. It should come out of HIS pocket.

The kicker is this: the people he's breaking the US's word to are THE KIND OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SERVE AMERICA AND BE GOOD AMERICANS. Trump isn't fit to lick the boots of a single one of those soldiers.
Thanks from Clara007

I agree with the program, I think it's a great way to secure a path to citizenship. The people being "discharged" hadn't been fully accepted into the program. As I read it, the people being discharged havn't been to recruit training. When I was a reserve I was in High School. I went to meetings etc but I knew that my status was not firm till I had done recruit training. There are many conditions under which you can be "discharged" before completion of recruit training. I believe that failing or having an incomplete background check is one that any recruit can be booted for, not just immigrants.

They aren't yet soldiers, they are recruits. You should read before your knee jerk posting.

Your article statea that recruits must have legal status to qualify for the program. So I am guessing these individuals were found to be unqualified for the program.

Why would they have been accepted in the first place if they weren't qualified??

It's going to be nauseating hearing the excuses roll in for the chickenhawk in the Oval Office on this one.

A soldier is a "recruit" until he graduates from Basic Training. That could be up to 13 weeks (Marines). These aren't a bunch of HS kids who haven't reported for duty yet.

Just another example of Trump breaking the USA's word and showing the he can't be trusted, EVER, to do the honorable thing.

They are in some cases. The rules are the same regardless. If you think the rules are not the same please cite authority. This program has been in place a long time and if you think it's a brand new practice to discharge recruits for cause you're badly mistaken.
I was in the Navy as a reservist at age 17 as a recruit E-1 for 6 mos. going to meetings etc until I went to boot camp. I knew that I wouldn't be really in the Navy till I graduated Boot camp and was promoted to E-2. The immigrant program is no different except that they seem to be given more leeway for study etc as shown by the complainants.
If it hasn't already been done I'd like to see it extended to Dreamers as well. After passing the same background checks as any other recruit of course.

Your Trump derangement makes you seem less and less credible the more we see here.
Thanks from Jimgorn
