Read some of Franklin's previous posts. If you do not agree with my assessment that would likely indicate your head is probably in the same condition as his.
The dude does not just attack feminism and liberalism but ALL of American culture. And yet he lacks the courage and resolve to leave. He plans to remain in the U.S, reaping the benefits of this culture while sitting online bitching and moaning about it.

Hi Jaaman. I was thinking about you the other day, wondering where you were in the forum world. I'm the administrator of a religious forum and was thinking back to the forum you ran years ago, though I can't recall the name of it any more. I'll send you a private message with a link to my forum, in case you want to check it out.

Note: I didn't say Evangelical Christian, I said organized religion. A social institution governed by a hierarchical priesthood that lays down rules for others to follow, and takes inquisitorial measures to see that those rules are followed.
So by organized religion, you basically mean Catholicism?

Do the chimps do anything that we would not observe in a population of Christians?

Nearly every religion that finds itself in a dominant position, uses that position to punish "heretics".
Can you think of religion that dominated politically, that hasn't murdered in the name of goodness?

I wasn't talking about "inflicting" their views on others, any more than you "inflict" your views on the people on this forum. I was talking about inquisitions and crusades, and jihads, and other forms of cultural genocide inspired by extreme right-wing religious fascists. Not evangelicals who meet regularly for prayer and bible study, and offer intellectual apologetic defense for what they believe. Most evangelical churches don't have a standing army to police their doctrines by military force. OMG!

If and when evangelicals establish political dominance, comparable to the Roman Church of the Dark Ages, or ISIS of today, you can expect them to deal with the heretics, and the unbelievers and the people they just don't like.
Just like the people of Salem, Massachusetts, who were what we would call Congregationalists today, but with complete power they had no problem executing the odd soul who didn't fit in.
Like the Puritans destroyed the Merrymount community, for offending their God, because they could.

They do seem to have some high powered political converts. Our current PM is an example, but fortunately our system, so far, is keeping him in check. But he keeps pushing.

AND... demonized, then massacred the Pequots? Yeah, those guys. And if I may be so bold, "God forbid" that extreme right-wing Protestants like those in Westboro Baptist Church ever seize political power in this country or anywhere else, because every thinking person (including other sects of Christianity) would be in trouble. As Hitler said, "We no longer need to worry about being good Christians; we just need to be good Germans."

FAITH doesn't concern me at all because I believe humankind is a spiritual as well as a physical being, which allows us to think in the abstract, and that is our inalienable right. Don't you dare deprive me of the freedom to think. RELIGION on the other hand gives me the willies because it is basically anti-intellectual and culturally dangerous. The problem arises when the conservative right becomes so afraid of change that they regard any new idea as a threat. There are always those who think they have a mandate from God to stamp it out.
