As my name implies, I am really from Pensacola and maintain a residence there. I am only in Kansas for the work. The work has gone so well, I have been here over a year. However, I come home to Pensacola often. I am going there on Saturday for a whole week.

I don't think this will last as long as the firemen the unions forced the railroads to carry when diesels came in. The Teamsters aren't as strong now as the railway unions were then.

Higher taxes on the wealthy, there is enough wealth to complete this scheme, but it has to be global in scope, which would result in huge transfers of wealth to what are today relatively poor areas.

But check out the alternative....higher taxes aren't that bad.

What makes you think mankind would not fuck up some new planet like they have this one?

Really, give that some thought..... it costs billions to transport a single person to another planet, how much of a dent do you expect that to make in the population issue?

The answer for some people is always to just run away from the reality of a problem instead of dealing with it.

But I thought that when the new society was established, there would be anarchy and no rich people anymore.
