Hi

I don't identify with the standard Democrat/Republican label. I have views that can be considered both.

I've always considered myself an Independent. I suppose Centrism is the closest thing to that?

I can tell you that anyone on the extreme far Left or Right downright frightens me. I'm looking at you, "Antifa".

I'm not on the right or the left either, but not centrist. A Republican candidate here once had a flyer of a dead possum on the center lane of a highway and the caption was: "This is the only thing you'll find in the center."

I believe in the concepts of unalienable Rights, Liberty and limited government. My default is I will never support anything that increases the size, power and / or scope of government. You would be encouraged to adopt that default. The scariest words you will ever hear is that "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you."

Thanks for your response. I can't say I believe in defaults. I think that when you're on the losing end of corrupt, there needs to be room to wiggle.

When was the last time spending more government paid off for you?

Other than collecting taxes and maintaining a large military establishment, tell me something this government does really well.

Healthcare?

Employment issues?

Taking care of the sick, elderly, handicapped?

Reducing crime / rehabilitating criminals/?

What issue are you satisfied with the results thereof?
