Souls of aborted fetuses

What do you think happens to the souls of aborted fetuses? I think they go straight to heaven in an adult form, and if I was sure of that I would be sure I was pro-choice. Does anyone believe as I believe who is pro-life?

If so, I suspect you don't understand me, something I encounter all too often):

Just because I believe someone is going to heaven does not make it right to kill them.

There's a more basic question

If we assume that fetuses are ensoulled. There's a more fundamental question, though: If we understand God to be all-powerful, all-knowing, all-good & so on - then, Why would He traffic in damaged goods?

I mean the soul, if each soul carries the taint of Original Sin. Can God produce something that is less than perfect? If the answer is Yes, that seems to cut against our understanding of the nature of God (or @ least, of the West's typical idea of God.)

Or am I missing something here?

Yeah. That's the thing. If you believe that the souls of fetuses and very young infants get a pass to heaven, that blows away the concept of original sin, plus the con job that the only way to heaven is through accepting Christ as one's personal saviour.

Mind you, the good fundie menace herd is very adept at doublethink so there probably is some rationalization they can come up with.

That was about angels, as I recall. & it was how many could dance on the point of a pin.

& it all may have been a put-up job anyway. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_ma...ad_of_a_pin%3F

Souls, angels, fairies, etc. are imaginary beings, they can do anything anybody can imagine them doing.
Thanks from Kode

Living the myths of magic and cults.
I believe there is no "soul" and no "heaven".
