Well, good. If it's been posted that many times it shouldn't be difficult for you to find it-them. Post again please.

The Washington Post newspaper by Michael E. Miller
She was the calm at the center of the storm, a storm spreading across the country.

The young woman stood silently on the cracked asphalt, her summer dress billowing in the breeze.

Around her swirled a kinetic mix of police officers and protesters. Dozens of demonstrators had blocked Baton Rouge’s Airline Highway on Saturday to denounce the death four days earlier of Alton Sterling, shot by police outside a convenience store. Many protesters carried signs. Some shouted into bullhorns. A few carried guns.

The woman in the summer dress didn’t seem to look at the two officers as they ran toward her. Instead, she seemed to look beyond them — even as they arrested her.

She just stood there and made her stand.
Born of Ashes romance novel by Caris Roane
Jean-Pierre’s chest expanded at the sight of Fiona with her hand on his work-table, the place he had laid each timber of the house; measured, sawed, planed, sanded. His heart swelled again, as though with her words and the things she did, she kept breathing life into his soul, almost more than he could bear.

Jean-Pierre had magnificent hair. It wasn’t blond or brown, but someplace in-between. All the outer layers and long tendrils were gold, especially in sunlight and what lay beneath was darker, heavier, as though he were these two qualities blended, a soft more playful layer over the toughness that characterized all the warriors.

He was infinitely gentle with her as well. Did he know how much she needed his gentleness? Her pursuit of Rith had toughened her and brought her courage. But in this quiet intimate moment, her fears returned. She was reminded of all that she had lost when she had been taken from the streets of Boston so long ago.

So the breakdown as of July 2016 is: 238 whites v 123 blacks???

Well, thank you for posting that, but you realize (I HOPE) that numbers don't mean a thing unless you consider the percentage of whites v blacks? Right?
'According to the most recent census data, there are nearly 160 million more white people in America than there are black people. White people make up roughly 62 percent of the U.S. population but only about 49 percent of those who are killed by police officers. African Americans, however, account for 24 percent of those fatally shot and killed by the police despite being just 13 percent of the U.S. population.' WaPo July 11, 2016
