This is a great idea. The GOP will never approve it. It costs $$$$$$.

I think it would be nice to have the National Parks fixed up once again. The bunny lovers and tree huggers will hate it but paying park visitors will love it.

My greatest feat was walking down the Grand Canyon Trail and stay one night at the Ghost Ranch where the vittles had to be packed in by mule train and then climb out. I was a young lad and the Colorado River looked like a good place to swim until I got to the bottom and saw it close up but did stick my big toe in torrent.
Thanks from coke

Generational poverty is running rampant in the cities, particularly for the black community. No money, no hope, no jobs and no opportunity. Gangs rule. Wars erupt.
The sub-culture is learned. Single parent moms. Kids growing up seeing extreme violence every day. Lack of education. Accepted incarceration. Again, this is generational--a cycle that perpetuates more violence. WE can't seem to get a handle on this learned culture, even though many have tried. It's like a disease with no vaccine.

do you understand that the welfare state is a major contributor to those issues

And without the welfare state.....?? Without financial assistance? Food stamps? Grants? Medicare? This is the question that no one can answer. We hear about how welfare has ruined this country--it has enabled a huge portion of the pop-- it has destroyed families--it has created ghettos, single moms, drug addicts.......etc etc etc.
And exactly HOW do you want to fix it, Sab?? Fix it, Sab.
Thanks from GhostRider

It is a wonder that the U.S. was able to survive without financial assistance, food stamps, grants, and medicare prior to the 1960s from the federal government. Living in caves, dying in the streets, cannibalism, anarchy, and on and on must have been the prevailing society without the federal government that has been scrubbed from history
Thanks from Sabcat
