Those misguided white boys who died fighting for their aristocrats are no different than the typical Democrat voter today. Voting for the interests of a few elite in order to make a better peasant class.
You've heard it said to the victor goes the spoils. I've often wondered if whites have considered the meaning behind that.

I know that on other threads I've pointed out that Japan used to make the boast that they are the most racially pure people on the planet. China is over 98 percent Han Chinese. North Korea is over 98 percent all one ethnic group and Zimbabwe is 99.7 percent African with only 30,000 whites in the whole country. And what is our policy toward the Israelis?

Did all that happen by accident? OR - as in the case of Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), did the predominate race fight a war and take the country? Somehow in this line of modern "logic" (and I use that word very liberally) it somehow became disgraceful for our founders to establish a country for the benefit of white people and for the Confederates to have allegedly fought to preserve those principles.

Whites cannot believe that anyone would stoop so low as to found a country with the notion of promoting white Christian culture by making those people the body politic. In our lifetimes we cannot afford to have a discussion of the REAL reasons that people go to war.

We know in our own lifetime that major financial powers want to reduce America into a part of the NEW WORLD ORDER. They want to take this country financially by shaming Americans into not being the epitome of multiculturalism. Strong financial powers want to reduce all of you to slavery by diluting the white vote in America and to make the body politic a hodge podge of races, cultures, religions, creeds, sexual persuasions, political viewpoints, economic viewpoints, and social beliefs. The chaos that results from such a divisive group allows the people who would reduce us to slavery to step in, shame the posterity of our founding fathers and build their Hell on earth.

The War of Northern Aggression (aka the "Civil War") was but a chapter in the book about world domination and global economic power. The race issue was simply a pretext to hide what the wars are really over. But, having said that I would never apologize nor feel guilty that America was founded by white Christians for their mutual benefit.

The original colonists shared their country by allowing people from all over the globe to come in and take advantage of the opportunities. Granted, we did not allow non-whites to be a part of the body politic, but NONE of the countries I mentioned earlier on this thread have been required to meet that standard. The whites who started this country saw America as being the New Jerusalem of the Bible and themselves as the servant race. Many nations have benefited off our charity. We've given money and resources to help the downtrodden; our youth to fight in foreign wars; our believers to serve as voluntary missionaries in places we had never heard of. We never gained an inch of ground NOR did we subjugate other countries in exchange for our help.

Today, we're supposed to feel guilty for having founded a nation for whites... as if we have no Right to our own homeland. The change agents and disinformation artists want you to believe that the whites who defend their homeland and their culture are the bad guys in cahoots with the NEW WORLD ORDER and they even create extremist groups to sell the illusion. But, at the end of the day, it is the global elitists that want the chaos. They want a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT - one race, one religion, one group of mindless slaves. The Confederate monuments are a testament and a reminder that the NEW WORLD ORDER failed. That, and no other reason is why the war is being waged against the white culture that founded this nation. While they may appear to be winning, the last chapter of this book is still being written.

Bubba, the ONLY thing you're succeeding in doing is to allow the liberals to beat you down with phony political arguments aimed at getting whites to hate their race.
Without the "War of Northern Aggression" the Confederacy would have followed through on already ongoing plans of establishing a slave empire by taking territories from Mexico, Brazil, and Central America:
Quote:
In the years leading up to the Civil War, many Northerners and Southerners alike wanted the federal government to take a more aggressive approach to acquiring new territory. In fact, some private citizens, known as filibusters, took matters into their own hands. They raised small armies illegally; ventured into Mexico, Cuba, and South America; and attempted to seize control of the lands. One particularly successful filibuster, William Walker, actually made himself president of Nicaragua and ruled from 1856 to 1857.

For the most part, these filibusters were just men in search of adventure. Others, however, were Southern imperialists who wanted to conquer new territories in the tropics. Abolitionist forces in the North greatly opposed their efforts, and the debate over Southern expansion only increased tensions in a divided nation. As the country drifted into war, U.S. Vice President John Breckinridge of Kentucky warned that "the Southern states cannot afford to be shut off from all possibility of expansion towards the tropics by the hostile action of the federal government."

But Abraham Lincoln's election in November 1860 put an end to the argument. The anti-slavery president refused to compromise, and war broke out in April 1861.

CONFEDERATE COLONIES, SOUTH OF THE BORDER

Winning the war was clearly a higher priority for the Confederacy than conquering Latin America, but growth was certainly on the post-war agenda. Confederate president Jefferson Davis made sure the Confederate constitution included the the right to expand, and he filled his cabinet with men who thought similarly. He even hinted that the slave trade could be revived in "new acquisitions to be made south of the Rio Grande."

During the Civil War, Confederate agents attempted to destabilize Mexico so that its territories would be easy to snatch up after the war. One rebel emissary to Mexico City, John T. Pickett, secretly fomented rebellion in several Mexican provinces with an eye to "the permanent possession of that beautiful country." Pickett's mission ended in failure in 1861, but fate dealt the South a better hand in 1863. French Emperor Napoleon III seized Mexico, and the move provided the South with the perfect excuse to "liberate" the country after the Civil War.

Of course, Mexico was just part of the pie the South hoped to inherit. Confederate leaders also had their eyes squarely on Brazil -a country of nearly 4 million square miles and more than 8 million people. Prior to the outbreak of the war, U.S. Naval Academy founder Matthew Maury dispatched two Navy officers to the Amazon basin, ostensibly to map the river for shipping. Instead, they were secretly plotting domination and collecting data about separatist movements in the region. When the South lost the war, Maury refused to abandon his plans. He helped 20,000 ex-rebels flee to Brazil, where they established the Confederate colonies of New Texas and Americana. To this day, hundreds of descendants of the Confederados still gather outside Americana to celebrate their shared heritage of rocking chairs and sweet potato pie. In a strange way, a part of the Old South still survives -thousands of miles below the U.S. border.
The Confederacy's Plan to Conquer Latin America - Neatorama
Underneath all the blather about democracy and freedom and constitutional rights blah blah were two competing imperial interests fighting to expand their empires! So, Lincoln and the north didn't want to see the southern slaveholding empire expand and regain control over Washington...boo hoo!
What's in your history books btw?

Slavery was the engine of the southern economy, and without it, the major slaveholding states-Mississippi in particular, went from being the wealthiest per capita state in the nation to the poorest ever since the end of the Civil War...so who the hell are they kidding besides themselves?

On that point, the great failure of the north was having Andrew Johnson installed after Lincoln...who just wanted to paper things over and allowed the southern aristocracy to resume control instead of the land redistribution that had been promised...40 acres and a mule etc.. Once the Old South was back, they started acting like they won the war...and in their own southern fiefdoms they did for decades, as they created institutional racism-"Jim Crow" laws and standards to put "slavery by another name" in charge!

And since the fall of most institutional racism in the Civil Rights Era, the strategy has had to fall back to using the mechanics of capitalism(structural racism)...entrenching wealth among those who already have it, to maintain systems of racial supremacism. One reason why racial turmoil ebbs and flows and is heating up in late stage capitalism, is because white supremacists are quick to go to war against any and every reforms to try to equalize an unequal system. When we get to the brave new world of Neoliberalism and more blacks try to fight back against foreclosures, private-for-profit prisons, closing schools and public facilities/and expanded, more costly and more aggressive policing in black neighborhoods..the other side is waiting and has tactics in place to fight back against any equalization and redistribution.

I find it odd that so many folks want the "right" to decide who gets to say what and in what way they get to say it. You folks do NOT have a "right" to NOT be offended.

Now, would you like the most likely reason? Too bad. You're going to get it anyway. The most likely reason those statues were built was because the populations of Confederate states wanted to honor those who fought or died for them. As for any statue of Lee or Jackson in Baltimore, you will have to show me a picture. But even if they exist there, maybe besides "White supremacy," the reason for their being there was to honor those who put up a good fight. To that end, why do statues or symbols of native Americans exist anywhere. Besides on Indian land of course.

What Indian was fighting specifically for the country that the founders envisioned?

So, where might we find this statue of William Walker OR are you just trying to invent another rewrite of American history?

There are people today - of my own race that want globalization. BFD. They don't speak for everyone. You keep coming here, calling all that you disagree with to be mythology and then trying to make a case for a global takeover without tying the people whose statues taken down to the events you're complaining about.

I'm not reading your books - no more than you're going to read mine. You make judgement calls on them without reading them, so I'm no reading yours by way of your long quotes. If you have a point, make it.

Actually by the time the Civil War started, slavery was not a very profitable system. While it did fuel industrialization in both the North and Great Britain, by the time the Civil War was getting ready to start it wasn't really profitable anymore. It was really about maintaining a way of life more than it was about money. Industrialization was the future.

Slavery had always been wrong. However, once it was no longer profitable anymore, the government was able to galvanize the nation against it.

It is a phenomenon known as "Whitelash". Once minorities begin to assert themselves, you begin to see a shift to the far-right among White folks. It has been observed all throughout American history.
  1. After the Civil War, and during the Harlem Renaissance, you had the Nadir and the birth of the KKK
  2. During the Civil Rights Movement, you saw the resurgence of the KKK and racial mob violence
  3. And now, during the Black Lives Matter movement, the LGBT movement, third-wave feminism, and the growing immigrant population, we saw the rise of the alt-right movement and the election of Donald Trump.

If you study history, this isn't anything new. As the American empire continues to crumble, there will be a wave of ethnic nationalism. This has been seen in every major empire in history once they began to decline. Capitalism is failing. This is it. Nothing we can do to fix it.

I fear you are absolutely accurate in that prediction, Gordy.

It makes me glad that I'm old and will probably not be around to see the end of it all.

One says 'probably' because you never know what our dotard-in-chief may manage to accomplish.

I can find points to agree with you on and points to disagree on.

In the first place, America was founded by white Christians for the benefit of their culture. At the same time, the bulk of those white Christians saw themselves as being a people that were to save the world with their missionaries, nation building and compassion.

Somewhere along the line, people began to get confused and thought that you could make every race, creed, color, religion (or lack thereof), political persuasion, sexual persuasion coexist on the same piece of real estate. It did not work, has never worked and will never work. Prior to the building of the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11) the people sought to be "one" and that didn't turn out so good, did it? Throughout history every time races, cultures, etc. were amalgamated, the civilization perished. Even the Roman Empire fell for the same reasons.

The current narrative is that somehow the white people are holding the non-white races in America down and the only way to fix it is to mix the races, cultures, religions, etc. The problem with that is obvious: in doing that, the non-whites want to suppress the white peoples history; they want to erase the positive aspects of white history and completely erase their past. They want whites in general to carry a phony guilt complex to accompany the rewrite of history.

The fact of the matter is that not all whites are a part of the NEW WORLD ORDER. The fact is America was not founded as a capitalist nation, but one of individual responsibility, free enterprise and unalienable Rights. The real confusion for BOTH sides is the thinking that unalienable Rights belong only to citizens and / or that only citizens are to be afforded unalienable Rights. And so, the overwhelming majority of white people live under this delusion that they must either deny the non-whites their God given Rights in order to reclaim their nation OR we must hand over America in fee simple to the non-whites, taking the blame for all those races that could not assimilate into our culture.

America IS going to fall. The average life span for is just over 200 years. Though I don't agree with every statement in the following article, it will give you some insight:

https://www.ucg.org/the-good-news/th...-america-today

Another view along the same lines is equally important:

The average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years

IMO, rather than wail and complain with the woe is me, the white man is the enemy, the non-whites would be well served to get those with mega bucks to invest in another country and those non-whites move to a place where they can best promote and advance their culture.

The ONLY thing we're accomplishing here is to play a blame game and to find new and novel ways to chastise whites for having had the audacity to build a republic that the entire world benefited off of. Surely, IF the non-whites are the equal of the white man in every respect, they could emigrate to a place where they could start from scratch and build a nation.

Instead, you choose to complain and blame, keeping your seat on the Titanic. When this nation goes under, I'm sure you will be leading the charge... but to what end? You are going to drown too. From my perspective, that "Eyes on the Prize" mentality has non-whites actually believing that America is that great gold mine and the only thing stopping the non-whites is the white man. They cannot accept the fact that America was founded on white - Christian cultural values. Destroy them and you destroy the nation. It is inevitable, but you won't take a fool's advice until you've been a fool yourself.
