Is that the meme that the hive has you pushing today, anti capitalism?

As that doesn't make a lick of sense otherwise.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to you, I understand.

TWS has taken a troll on your reasoning abilities. Probably, it's reversible but you never know.

The move to driverless cars will be driven primarily by hoped-for increases in profits. Pure capitalism at work there. But you're right. A societal cost is imposed by someone's higher profits and fewer jobs. More people wind up on the dole.

This is still capitalism, the need for the dole, right?

Pure capitalism rely on a strong a growing work force that spends hard earned money. Welfare recipients don't rent taxi's. The government is not gonna pay for someone to take Uber to collect free cheese.

I'm viscerally suspicious of that. OK, I'm bigoted toward silicon-based life, at least for now. Here's Sophie.
Meet Sophia: The first robot
declared a citizen by Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Meet Sophia: a smart and outspoken… robot. Saudi Arabia on Wednesday made the advanced lifelike humanoid robot a citizen, the first country to grant citizenship to a robot.

Sophia Robot, an advanced lifelike humanoid robot, spoke October 25 at a panel on robotics and artificial intelligence at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Riyadh, shortly before being declared a citizen of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the first country to grant citizenship to a robot.

Sophia was built by Hong Kong-based Hanson Robotics Ltd., which says its humanlike robots have remarkable expressiveness, aesthetics, and interactivity.

The announcement was made at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) summit in Riyadh, a major investment conference hosted by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) that aims to highlight the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 plan for the future.

“We have a little announcement. We just learnt, Sophia; I hope you are listening to me, you have been awarded the first Saudi citizenship for a robot,” said panel moderator Andrew Ross Sorkin, Co-anchor of CNBC’s “Squawk Box”.

“Thank you to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I am very honored and proud for this unique distinction,” Sophia told the panel. “It is historic to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with citizenship.”

France started taxing their industrial robots which in effect makes them Citizens of France.

The House of Saud recently said they are going to develop nuclear weapons which is off topic but essential news.

We don't have a purely capitalistic economic system. No one does any more than anyone's ever had a purely communistic system.

It's true that the welfare recipient doesn't rent taxis. In this hypothetical case, the welfare recipient is on the dole because the corporation replaced all the expensive human drivers with self-driving vehicles. Profits immediately went up 139 percent, a capitalistic success.

The dudes who lost their jobs, the ones collecting their dole, are part of that capitalistic success, too.
Thanks from Twisted Sister
