This is not your country if Trump is not your president

Very simple concept. Here is a little help for those in question

Quote:

B. ELEMENTS OF RENUNCIATION

A person wishing to renounce his or her U.S. citizenship must voluntarily and with intent to relinquish U.S. citizenship:

appear in person before a U.S. consular or diplomatic officer,
in a foreign country at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate; and
sign an oath of renunciation
Renunciations abroad that do not meet the conditions described above have no legal effect. Because of the provisions of Section 349(a)(5), U.S. citizens can only renounce their citizenship in person, and therefore cannot do so by mail, electronically, or through agents. In fact, U.S. courts have held certain attempts to renounce U.S. citizenship to be ineffective on a variety of grounds, as discussed below.

Questions concerning renunciation of U.S. citizenship in the United Statespursuant to INA section 349(a)(6) must be directed to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security.

Thousands of people who fled to Canada to escape President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migrants have become trapped in legal limbo because of an overburdened refugee system, struggling to find work, permanent housing or enroll their children in schools.

Refugee claims are taking longer to be completed than at any time in the past five years, according to previously unpublished Immigration and Refugee Board data provided to Reuters. Those wait times are set to grow longer after the IRB in April allocated “up to half” of its 127 tribunal members to focus on old cases. The number of delayed hearings more than doubled from 2015 to 2016 and is on track to increase again this year.

Hearings are crucial to establishing a claimant’s legal status in Canada. Without that status, they struggle to convince employers to hire them or landlords to rent to them. Claimants cannot access loans or student financial aid, or update academic or professional credentials to meet Canadian standards.

Long...deep...audible exhalation. So you've decided to pull out all the stops and reveal your inner child (age 2), have you?? "ALL gone". "Bye bye".
You don't like the way we cut your peanut butter sandwich. You want your blankie. You hate peas. We FEEL for you, Sabcat....but there's the THINK CHAIR. NOW GO sit down and listen/read.

I assume you are implying that millions of people (WHO DID NOT VOTE FOR DOTARD) should leave the country and head for Canada or wherever.
I assume that you KNOW that WE WON'T LEAVE....just as those who DID NOT VOTE for Obama. They stayed too....threatened to leave....but stayed.

I assume that you know telling us to leave implies that dissent and change are not permissible here. That is nonsense, of course. Change is constant, and it only comes through a diversity of opinions. This is not China.*

*This argument does not work in China.

I assume that you know many of YOUR ideas SUCK and that we are not in the mood for anarchist bullshit. I assume that you know you can't just SHUT DOWN a discussion because you don't like the trend.

I assume you know that where we live isn't the problem. The problem lies in the PEOPLE WHO LIVE around us and LIE TO US--every frickin' day.

Dotard is president. Women are still paid less than men for doing the same job. Racism flourishes. Our education system blows. Heroin addicts are dying by the truckload. Road rage is real. Terrorists still attack good, decent people.
Corruption in government is endemic and you continue to behave like a very brilliant but forever jaded whackadoodle.

But no matter how bad it gets, I'M staying. This country is MINE... although Canada is a lovely place....but again-- I'm not leaving. I'm staying to fight for MY political ideology....and I imagine everyone else is too.

Now wave buh-bye and go to your room. You're in a time out.
Thanks from Hollywood

Nope. I am referring to the people who have been throwing a trumpertantrum for the better part of a year. He is the President of the United States. Period. That is how it works and how it has for hundreds of years.

I have hardcore communist uncles and others that belonged to the jonh birch society. Many who are teachers, college professors and from all branches of the military. Lets just say family reunions are very interesting but one thing always remained constant. The POTUS was the POTUS. You show respect, you stand for the flag because if it was not for those things and what they represent we would not be able to have the eclectic group of people and the unbridled discussions that we have.

I hated bush, especially during his second term and the same for O-bomber as did many people i know, yet we were able to voice our disdain and not slanderous. There was an open exchange of ideas. I once watched a group of marines get into a heated debate defending this very principle that ended very poorly for the rednecks they were arguing w/.

I find it very sad when it takes an anarchist to remind you people of these very simple principles that just a few years was common practice.

P.s. the wage gap is a myth and has been demonstrated so many times.

In Bold, the problem is you think they are all republicans. You also think based on what you have been told by God knows who that liberals are elite thinkers, that of course is nonsense!

Don the Con will NEVER be my president. He is totally unfit for office. He colluded with Russia to steal the election. We will RESIST as long as this creep is in office. He can steal an election but will NEVER win the hearts and minds of the American people. I have NEVER been so embarrassed to be an American. The End.

Surprised you showed your face here at all after he dusted of that tramp Clinton, after you guaranteed she would win.

By the way I was embarrassed by Obama, and how he went around apologizing for our Greatness.

Ooohhh....well, when you put it THAT way......you've truly lost your ever-lovin' mind.
Where was this lovely spiel when the GOP slandered not only Barack Obama but his WIFE?? When the GOP slandered Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea..? Where was this lovely tirade when the racist slogans started--the effigy of a burning Obama--the denial of Obama's citizenship--the filthy lies about Obama's family and religion.

It's ONE thing to disagree entirely with an administration's policies. It's another thing to perpetuate lie after lie and support the liars who lie.

I oppose Trump for all sorts of reasons, most of which have absolutely nothing to do with the GOP platform....but then I don't like people who have NO MORAL compass, no respect for others and live for hypocrisy. Now if you want to support a president who shames this nation every single day, go right ahead, but don't expect me to support such a man. AND don't tell me what to think or how to behave. You don't have that right.
AND another thing. I have personally experienced the double standard in the workplace...so don't tell me it's been debunked. I actually confronted my boss (president of the company) and asked him why I was paid less. Here's what he said in a shocked manner: The men in this company have families to support!!

Go peddle your ignorance and arrogance somewhere else.
