The KKK deems themselves followers of a religious belief that supports their stances. So do the FRC and WBC. But you can bet members of those same religious denominations are fighting to remove religious faith as a reason those people give for spreading their hate.

There's very little difference in beliefs between the SBC, the KKK, the WBC or the members of the FRC. And it really isn't the responsibility of other Christians to denounce those bigoted views. Nor would it help to do so, other than to let sane people know that not all Christians are frickin' nuts.

Why should I need to educate myself about some cult's beliefs, especially since I don't care about those beliefs? You might not believe that nonsense literally, but there are an awful lot of people who do. And many of them are Chick-fil-A customers.
