US Presidents and immigration restrictions

Quote:
While the mainstream media and liberals across America are causing chaos and panic over President Trump’s so-called ‘Muslim Ban’ (it’s not a Muslim ban), the Congressional Research Service quietly released statistics on what the last five Presidents did in regards to limiting immigration.

As noted by the Conservative Review, the most important part of what the Congressional Research Service found was:

The results from the report show that since President Reagan, Democrat Presidents have limited immigration to specific groups of people far more than Republican Presidents have.

Ronald Reagan – 5 Times

George H.W. Bush – 1 Time

Bill Clinton – 12 Times

George W. Bush – 6 Times

Barack Obama – 19 Times

Obama Imposed Immigration Restrictions 19 Times - Including 4 Times on Muslim Countries

Interesting statistics that I need to plot on a X and Y graph. One, five and nineteen are prime numbers.

Too tiresome for me because I suffer from congenital dementia (born stupid).

Donald Trump is going to be the most attacked President ever in the history of this nation by the media. You will find nothing in any major way that will make Trump or the GOP look good. This is where the Trump and the GOP will have to win by results. They can not depend on rhetoric and bullshit. Leave that to the sissy cry baby Democrats. Keep watching the job numbers and the unemployment numbers. Especially in the rust belt. If the keep improving, Trump and the GOP win again. California does not get to decide for all of us. New York does not get to decide for all of us. Illinois does not get to decide for all of us. Another thing, the deportations are beginning. Lets see how that affects the voting plus what appears to be a strong look into voter fraud. My gut tells me the Democrat party is about to become unraveled.

Funny how those moaning that President Trump did not win the popular vote have no problem with unelected, life tenured, black robes ruling over them. Even to now inserting themselves into what for 200+ years has been the domain of Congress and the POTUS.

Just because there have been adjustments to immigration law or doctrine in the past, doesn't mean they're all same, nor does it automatically make them right.

Congress decides the law and if there is judicial review allowed, Congress gave plenary power to POTUS in 1952 and did not include judicial review as part of that statute. Other than a few specific jurisdictions mentioned in Article III, the rest is up to Congress to decide.

Yeah, the only glaring difference being that they never went on record with trying to find a way to "legally" implement a ban and campaigned for months on banning Muslims from entering the country LMFAO!!

If you hate the way our government was formed, you should leave! These are called checks and balances genius. And judges are supposed to be impartial hence the inability to worry that they might lose their jobs if not finding in the favor of whoever is the one in power at the time. Seriously, if you want to live in a repressive country where there is no one to balance the actions of the corrupt, then get out already and go.
