A few weeks ago, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said colleague Joe Lieberman was the least of his problems in passing a health care bill.

I donno. I am not convinced they won't somehow hijack my healthcare. They have billions of dollars worth of bribe money to hand out yet.

That R behind their name is a complete misnomer. In Maine Olympia Snowe is probably considered a 'righty' but to those of us in the south and the heartland she is a liberal. Period.

Olympia Snowe will be gone the moment she supports that bill. Maine will chew that thing up and spit it out in November.

It's really strange the way some of the states near Canada elect weird Senators and congressmen... From the East coast to the West coast some, not all but some regions bordering Canada just elect weird folks... do you think it could be the water?

Liberals have a tendency to congregate around big cities of the northeast and the west coast. They seem quite terrified when they are out of their element.

How did the Civil War make it into this debate? If you take a look at this map you can click on each state and find liberal and conservative representation. Electoral-vote.com: Election news

My original point was that Maine, Minnesota and Washington state just have weird senators. Much of NH is very conservative while the bordering state of VT is just weird. Washington state has very conservative population and very liberal progressives and they are of the weirdest variety...A fucking bridge falls down in MN and the crumbling bridges across America is the weird chant of the state senators, but the bridge was being repaired and the dumbass contractors overloads the bridge with repair materials causing it to fail... nothing to do with education or the Civil War.
