New info form CBO proves president Obama and Democrats to be liars when they say the bill reduces the deficit and extends Medicare... the CBO sent a new letter stating you can't count the same money twice and as a result the bill loses money... that means Obama shouldn't sign it because he said he wouldn't.

But he will because this won't be the first promise he has broken. They all know they're going to get kicked out by the voters next time so they're going to live it up while they can. Jam it through no matter what.

Oh and btw, either my Senator's phone has been totally ringing off the hook for 14 straight days or that's just how many people plan on crucifying him when he comes back home. It's a permanent busy ring. Maybe he turned the phone off.

I heard a commentator say today that almost ever senator on the Dems side had their voice mail full and switchboards burned out with calls. Guess they are just betting it's better to pass something than to fail...I think they think wrong.

The CBO's been saying for a while now that both bills would reduce the deficit, got a link?

'Cause I do, and it contradicts your claims.

In a report released this afternoon, CBO and the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) estimated that the PPACA, incorporating the manager’s amendment, would reduce Part A outlays by $245 billion and increase HI revenues by $113 billion during the 2010-2019 period. Those changes would increase the trust fund’s balances sufficiently to postpone exhaustion for several years.

Guess from where? The Congressional Budget Office.

The reason they've been saying that is that the real costly part of the bill is being delayed for a few years while the taxes and other revenue generators start immediately. Over the long haul, this "reform" is gonna leak money like a sieve.

A primer...

There is no reason for me to provide a link because the news will cover the new CBO response explaining the team Obama/Dems have been lying over the upcoming weeks. What is the lie, the lie is that the bill saves money. CBO explains that yes, the cuts to Medicare do save money outlays... but they do say if the saved money is used on the new entitlement then it cannot be applied to extending Medicare. The life of Medicare will be shortened by the cuts and the projected savings will be applied to the new entitlement. The lie continues based on the information provided to the CBO by team Obama/Dems, they left out $250 billion in doctor's fix...team Obama/Dems will prove this to be a lie within the next 90 days when they fund the doctor's fix. The lie continues based on the information provided to CBO that Medicare will have drastic cuts... the congress has never and will never do these cuts because to do so would be political suicide... so the savings are not there, debt in the trillions is there and the only ones smiling is the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
