Just bought a Kobo E Reader from Border's Store yesterday, charged it up on my computer, and started reading, and my reading speed increased twofold easily. Went through half of James Joyce's "Dubliners" in a couple of hours. Thing is the perfect size and fit for reading, about the size of a paperback novel, but much thinner. Has great resolution, adjustable print size and a two week battery life if you read continuously. Just recharge it off your computer, comes with the USB cable for charging and ordering new books. Price, $69.00, our local Fort Lauderdale store is in the hands of the receivership outlet because Borders is in Federal Bankruptcy.Hope they come out of it OK, because I always liked the store. Can't beat the price, and their Kobo comes with 100 Classic American novels already programed into it. I was particularly happy to find Hawthorne's "Scarlett Letter" and all of the Jane Austin books. If you have a child going to school, from 8th grade on, this is really a must buy and read. You get the whole literary library they need for high school, in a 6-inch computerized e-reader, and everything in it is something I have taught at one time or another in an English Literature class. 65% of the SAT vocabulary words, and another 20% of them are always taken out of "The Scarlett Letter" and Austin's "Pride & Prejudice" but her other novels are also included. Even if you never buy a new e-book for the thing, you couldn't buy those 100-classic books for that price anywhere. I am going back tomorrow and purchase one for my grand niece, who is in 10th grade High School up in Buffalo, this is one of the best things I have seen for sale in years...........Stan
