I'm guessing, this wasn't a big hit at the latest Focus on the Family convention?

The fascinating myth here is the notion that gays do not have any rights merely because those of religious faith refuse to allow them to change the definitioni of marriage.

But alas, we live in an age of myths and disinformation; where media malfeasance gives way to ignorance by re-electing a President and his adminstration that continues to erode liberty, laughably claims the rich are to blame for their trillion dollar deficits and pretend that the economy is on the right track while ignoring FHA's insolvency, ignoring the US Post Offices insolvency, ignoring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac insolvency, massive unemployment and the massive amount of economic malaise that has a solid grip on our economy.

If you want to see the future, look at Greece, Spain, France and the great states of Illinois and California. This is your future America; enjoy it because you voted for it!

I agree, that the video, while it is heart-warming, panders to every cliche appeal to emotion in the gay-marriage activism playbook.

I'm not sure what any of it has to do with the economy, however. Heck if anything gay marriage could boost the economy.

Think of the potential revenue boost for divorce attorneys alone. More marriages = more possible divorces = more money in their pockets = them spending more money.

Yep, from a purely economic viewpoint, gay marriage is a job creator. The craftsman who hand-builds $2,600 front doors - a guy presently out of work - will benefit, for instance.

Wedding planners, cake bakers, photographers, and many others, all stand to benefit, and consequently boost their own spending power, which dumps that much more fuel into the economy.

All of that is cold comfort when god takes the earth and throws it directly into the sun for allowing me to marry my partner.....

Seemingly, he had no problem with humans owning other humans....and we have been in great moral decline here in America since then because of the freedom given to us nasty gays.

Ohhhhh if only we could go back.

Well, if God throws the Earth into the Sun over gay marriage and the resulting economic boost, at least we'll all die with more money.

I am all in for gay Civil UNIONS; why can't we have that instead of this desperate effort to destroy the family and re-define terms that have worked fine for centuries?

Please illustrate for all of us how allowing same sex couples to marry will "destroy the family". Draw cause and effect.

(this ought to be hilarious)
