But 2012 is not 2010óRepublicans who once believed they could extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy forever simply by holding middle-class tax cuts hostage are afraid that their bluff is about to be called. And they have reason to be afraid. The economy is stronger today than it was two years ago and President Obama just won an election in which ending the Bush tax cuts for top income earners was a major issue. He's repeatedly vowed to not extend tax cuts on income more than $250,000 and this time congressional Democrats are supporting him.

I just could not get past the misrepresentation of facts to even open the link. Obama's signature is at the bottom of the current tax code, it was renewed with a vote of 139 Democrats and 138 Republicans in the House, and a vote of 81-19 in a Democrat controlled Senate. They own the current tax code. So the correct terminology would be the Obama and Democrats tax cuts.

What an amusing illogical conclusion; the one's who are holding Middle Class tax cuts hostage are Democrats and this President who think that the ONLY starting point is $100 billion in additional taxes stolen from those who earned it KNOWING that it is merely partisan posturing and will do NOTHING, ZERO, NADA to add ONE job or reign in the massive uncontrolled spending Democrats have been engaging in ever since the American public were duped into kicking Republicans out of the majority in 2006.

But I am not susprised by the level of ignorance and partisan posturing from the leftist media, the DNC, Liberals and this adminstration. When all the facts suggest that your policies and programs are an outright failure, the only thing left is hyperbole, lies, deflections, distortions and demagoguery.

The thing Liberal Progressives continue to not learn is that eventually, the public catches on and will stop supporting such stupidity.
