The house has passed budgets for the last 2 years.** Senate has done nothing.**

*

If you did not do your job would you get paid?

The* house passed a Budget in 2011 that Covered the last 8 months of* FY 2011,* They also passed a Budget for 2012 that*same month,** They also passed a Budgt last Febuary for FY 2013..

*

All of Which were never considered in the Senate.

*

You see the Senate should have done 1 of 3 things if the Senate had done it's job..***

*

1. Pass the Budgets as received from the house (this is rarely done)

*

2.*Debated the Budget for up to 60*hours* Amended the Budget and passed the Amended Budget, this would have forced*a Conference Committee and the committee would have*negotiated solutions to the differences in the 2 budget and made a compromise budget (the process would then start over house and senate would have to consider the Compromise budget and voted up or down).

*

3. Voted*down the house Budget and this would*have forced a*Conference Committee to negotiate a compromise budget (then the compromise budget would then go*both houses for consideration).

I think it is a good idea.

*

Not only would I dock their pay, but I would also pull all benefits such as their Cadillac health care program too.* No expense account, no pay for their assistants, no nothing.* Let them go on Medicare / ObamaCare / Soylent Green Care.

*

Democrats will hate this to no end.* Forcing them to produce a budget will force them to reveal what they really want.* And the last thing in the world they want is being forced to reveal their true colors.

Rather than docking their pay, Iíd like to see the Sergeant At Arms arrest Harry Reid right on the Senate floor.* Haul his ass off to jail for breaking the law.

*

Technically, proposing a budget is not required by Federal Law but by rules enacted by Congress to govern themselves.* So Harry Reid is merely only breaking the rules Congress put on itself.* Trouble is, they didnít attach any punishment to those breaking the rules.* Itís sort of like a country club that enacts their own rule of, ďno shoes, no shirt, no serviceĒ.* If Harry Reid walks into the clubhouse in nothing but his underwear which jail to you take him to?* There is none.

*

But still, itís more fun to say Reid is breaking the law.* We quit paying attention to the finer points a long time ago.
