Republicans aren't popular right now as we have seen by the last two elections. Obama hasn't done a great job and barley won. If Biden was the democratic pick it would be bad. But the GOP candidates haven't looked so appealing either. What can we look forward to In 2016?

Were Democrats not popular when Bush was President? Were Democrats not popular when Bush Sr. was President?

How is winning an election by a slight margin of over half the voters make the Republicans NOT popular?

This is another dumb argument made by sheeple who are spoonfed their talking points from a media devoted to ensuring Democrat majorities.

But the reality is that this is not about being "popular"; this is about policy that is consistent with the Constitution which the current President and his adminstration find inconvenient.

Just because low information voters came out and voted for the worst President since Jimmy Carter simply because he was black (although not entirely) and because they felt a connection with him regardless of his massively failed foreign and domestic policies, that doesn't mean Republicans are "unpopular" or should become "democrat light." It just means there are a lot of really dumb people out there who are economically ignorant, Constitutionally ignorant and think that Government should be the arbiter of what is fair and re-distribute through force the earned income of a few to dole it out for votes of the needy.

Of course the irony of these low information voters is that Government can only be good if THEIR "deciders" are in charge.

I cannot imagine a bigger understatement; Obama has done a pathetic job and has driven a larger wedge between the citizens of this great nation than any of his predecessors in his desperate bid to get re-elected by low information voters using Marxist class envy arguments.

Which ones? I have not seen any announcements yet.

I would guess we will be looking at more of the same.

Democrats will bring out their tired old mantra of caring more than anyone else and demagoguing their political opponents and offering nothing new or substantive beyond tax and spend.

Republicans will have an uphill battle dealing with the constant never ending disinformation campaign by a mainstream media devoted to malfeasance in their efforts to ensure Democrat majorities and the mud slinging that Obama spent over a billion dollars making a trademark out of.

Don't expect any susbtance from Democrats; they will continue their mud slinging campaign and avoiding substance because history and the facts are not on their side.

if you think that all republicans are rich white men destroying the environment and oppressing women and minorties while hoarding their wealth in fiendish glee, you might be a low information voter

I think the next POTUS will be GOP.. this one is failing just that many have not realized it yet.

I hope Linclon was right when he said:

You can fool some of the people all the time, all of the people some of the time. But not all the people all the time.
