Exclamation Charities; With The Sean Hannity Seal-Of-Approval!!

Quote:

"The worst charity in America operates from a metal warehouse behind a gas station in Holiday, Florida.

Every year, Kids Wish Network raises million$ of dollar$ in donations in the name of dying children and their families.

Every year, it spends less than 3 cents on the dollar helping kids.

Most of the rest gets diverted to enrich the charity's operators and the for-profit companies Kids Wish hires to drum up donations.

In the past decade alone, Kids Wish has channeled nearly $110 million donated for sick children to its corporate solicitors. An additional $4.8 million has gone to pay the charity's founder and his own consulting firms.

No charity in the nation has siphoned more money away from the needy over a longer period of time."

I read the story but cannot for the life of me get the connection with Sean Hannity.

But what is equally confusing is what the purpose of your spam could be? The story itself indicates that states are indeed going after any charity that appears to be a scam thus suggesting that they are NOT above the law as your article suggests.

But the article ignores the biggest charity scam in the nation, and that entity doesn't even have to rely on voluntary donations, it can forcefully extract those funds from millions Of Americans every year whether they want to or not. That entity is the Federal Government which has grown well beyond its Constitutional authority and engages in redistribution schemes 70 percent of the time.

So is it better that people gullibly volunteer to give their wealth to private institutions where the funds may not get to those in need, or that people involuntarily have it forcefully extracted from them to see it given away to low information voters by unscrupulous politicians trying to stay elected and with programs that are gamed by fellow Americans who feel they are entitled?

It doesn't occur to you that Hannity is merely promoting this charity because he thinks it is a good idea.

Frankly, looking at the tax returns and mission statements, I find the hateful message from a leftist blogger less than convincing.

I'm going to look at the Salvation Army and Red Cross to see how much of their donations are used to serve the poor and indigent.

I'm betting that putting on a concert is a very expensive proposition. But again, the mission of this organization is primarily an educational mission and a large amount of funds have been reserved, not sure what for unless it is to continue giving educational grants.

So other than the partisan hysterics, would it be better if these kids got nothing? Would it be better if these service people got nothing?

Maybe this blogger, instead of ranting about Conservative charities can start one of her own and show us how it should be done where 90% of he donations can be given to military members who have been wounded?
