Britain is the role model of how the anti gun crowd will finally be able to repeal or nullify the second amendment. Britain went after hunting, or as they called it blood sport. That will be what will happen here in the United States. Once legalized hunting is abolished then that will remove a rather large chunk of owning a gun justification. What is the two things anti gun people say when they lie about taking firearms. They say firearms for hunting are fine and firearms for sport shooting such as targets and clay pigeons. occasionally they mention self defense but not normally. The sad part is as a life long hunter it will be the hunting industry that will get hunting banned. There is to many land leases, hunting clubs and guide services involved with hunting. When I was a young man I could go to almost any farm around me and get permission to hunt. Those days are over. Farmers are leasing there land to hunters and guide services and those that do not lease will not allow hunting because of fear of being sued if someone gets hurt on their land. The average working person cant afford leases for thousands of dollars or a few hundred dollars a day to go hunting. That leaves public land. Liberal states will have no problem with legislating hunting off of public lands then that just leaves the money hunting. Before long the number of hunters will drop to such a low number that it will be abolished. Hunting is not a constitutional right, although some states have put it in their respective state constitutions.

Guy...you very well may be describing a return to yesteryear...where Hunting Reserves were for the ruling elite...or else! All the recent moves into Socialism had their leaders go off hunting on government-sanctioned reserves: Goering...Stalin...Mussolini...Ceaucescu...Tito... all of 'em!

Exemptions for Obamacare were handed out...why not hunting privileges???

Yes, the President is going to hand out hunting privileges like Hitler did. What a contribution.

We already have to have a hunting privileges from the government (they are called Licenses) that is how we fund the
State and National parks.

And in DC to hunt deer the Dept of interior is already handing out hunting privileges, and it allows spot lighting.

Don't mock Der Führer.

More seriously, I don't even see the merit in gun control laws so, whatever, I guess. Doesn't really impact me, being an ocean away and all, but good, I guess.
