That works till you contemplate what if your kids had to go to an inner city school. What then?

I'm against AA in general, but there are still big problems out there.
Thanks from Camelot

Yes, I agree. AA is the only thing so far able to address those big problems. And we are now seeing a clear backward momentum in the area of support for equal protection and equality of opportunity.

What a hoot! Forced busing for years. How'd that work out? Did that see any large increase in test scores, the theory being that black kids in classrooms with white kids would see improvements. Tens-of-billions piddled away with that liberal experiment. Of course the 99% of left wing politicians send their darlings to private or parochial schools while lecturing taxpayers on the virtues of public schools.

And why are 'inner city' schools a problem? Who makes it that way?

Yup, typical loser attitude. Rather than look for a fix, just find someone to blame and go home feeling superior.
Thanks from waitingtables and Camelot

Silly at best. Qualifies you though as a replacement level DTT modertor, there being a few openings I understand.

50 years of solving a problem by throwing trillions-of-dollars, transferred from the productive to the non-productive. And what has changed with the 'War on Poverty'? And forced school busing? Oh, right, nothing. Keep on doing the same thing over and over, IOW, insanity.

I make no pretense. Rather you play at being knowledgeable based on corrupted data from left wing nut sites.

"Equality of opportunity" is the NFL, the NBA. It is now in university in Michigan and several other states, and soon to be in more states. It is not affirmative action, which drags everyone down. That you are too stupid to see that is no one's fault but your own.

What did he mean by revolt? This government operates at the behest of the people...not the other way around. Taxation isn't "emotionalism" it directly involves our economic livelihood.

Could it be the race-baiter's? You know them, the people who are constantly whining about higher dollars per student that somehow never finds it's way to the classroom.
