Thumbs up John McCain; Smacked-DOWN, By A Woman...For Hiding-BEHIND A Woman!!

No, no, no.....not the woman who's $upporting him.....

Quote:

"It’s probably the worst decision John McCain ever made, and he should continue to be uncomfortably reminded of it every time he opens his mouth.

Such was the case during a broadcast of PoliticsNation on MSNBC, when contributor Joan Walsh appeared on the program to discuss deplorable remarks made by John McCain in a recent interview with Sean Hannity.

McCain accused President Obama of being a coward in the wake of Russia shooting down Malaysian flight MH17. The downed plane has caused international uproar, and despite stronger new sanctions slapped on Russia by Obama that are having a negative effect on business there, McCain is pushing for war. “It’s just been cowardly,” McCain said of Obama.

But Joan Walsh didn’t let McCain get away with those un-American comments. She fired back by reminding McCain about what real cowardice is.

Quote:
"You don’t say that about the commander-in-chief. This is a man, I respect him for his service, but if we’re going to talk cowardly, somebody tried to put Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency so that he hoped to hold onto his right-wing base. I mean, somebody that has a lot to atone for and a lot to think about and shouldn’t be tossing around words like cowardly."

Joan Walsh has an excellent point. If it would have been up to McCain, Palin would be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. McCain shouldn't be criticizing anyone's judgement.

Do you think? Was Palin a good choice for VP? If so, why? What made her qualified as VP and what would she bring to the presidency if McCain would have been elected and died?

Palin good Choice for VP

1. Balanced 6 government budgets.

2. Brought a State from Deficit to having Surplus budgets

3. Created a state Rainy Day Fund of 7 billion dollars

4. While creating all this great fiscal success for the state she was able to give a $2,800 tax rebate to ever Alaska Resident.

Obama has increased SS taxes 2013,
Obama has created 21 New taxes in Obamacare
Obama has increased personal income txes
Obama has decreased deductions in the income taxs

and the budget is still 700+Billion dollars in the red. after 5 years.

Heck she would have made a better POTUS than Obama.

See what you did. You can waste your time now to explain Alaska and Wasilla.

Here's a head start.
Quote:
According to figures provided by the city of Wasilla, the operating budget for Wasilla went from $6,050,160 in fiscal year 1996 to $9,393,768 in 2002. That's a 55 percent increase. But adjusted for inflation, it's a 35 percent increase.

• "During those same 6 years the amount of taxes collected by the city increased by 38 percent." According to a review of Wasilla's financial reports, the amount of revenue taken in during 1996 was $6,070,806; and rose to $8,710,166 in 2002. That's a 43 percent increase. Adjusted for inflation, that comes to a 25 percent increase.

• "She reduced progressive property taxes and increased a recessive sales tax which taxed even food."

Under Palin, property tax rates did, in fact, go down; and the sales tax did go up from 2 percent to 2.5 percent. And yes, the sales tax includes food (though there are exemptions for such things as medicine).

• "The huge increases in tax revenues during her mayoral administration weren't enough to fund everything on her wish list though, borrowed money was needed, too. She inherited a city with zero debt, but left it with indebtedness of over $22-million. What did Mayor Palin encourage the voters to borrow money for? Was it the infrastructure that she said she supported? The sewage treatment plant that the city lacked? Or a new library? No. $1-million for a park, $15-million-plus for construction of a multi-use sports complex...She also supported bonds for $5.5-million for road projects that could have been done in 5-7 years without any borrowing."

The city of Wasilla has made available all of its budgets during Palin's tenure. So we grabbed the fiscal year ending 1996 (when Palin took the reins), which showed the city's long-term debt at $1.12-million, mostly for paving and sewer projects.

The annual financial report for fiscal year ending June 30, 2002 — Palin's last year in office — shows that the total long-term debt was $24.8-million. So Kilkenny is off a bit when she says long-term debt went from zero to $22-million. But it did increase $23.7-million.

She said she could see Russia from her backyard, too.

Quote:

"When a campaign aide gingerly asked Todd whether Sarah should consider taking psychiatric medication to control her moods, Todd responded that she “just needed to run and work out more.” Her anger kept boiling over, however, and eventually the fits of rage came every day. Then, just as suddenly, her temper would be gone. Palin would apologize and promise to be nicer. Within hours, she would be screaming again. At the end of one long day, when Palin was mid-tirade, a campaign aide remembers thinking, “You were an angel all night. Now you’re a devil. Where did this come from?”
