Obama begged Ukraine to let US help in the plane crash investigation, which they rejected. Iraq won't take Obama's call and buddied up to Russia, Germany has kicked US officials out for spying, Russia looked like a hero and Obama like an impotent idiot in Syria, ............

We don't kill retail
Meaning the US, right? Prexy Putin is ex-career KGB, a Lt. Col., as I recall. He probably personally hooked up electrodes & had prisoners biting through their tongues, oversaw honey pot operations, interrogations, torture, a little wet work on the side. Blackmail, subornation, bribery, photos, staged incidents, threats, kidnapping, murder.
Restraint for these guys meant saving some bullets for yourself in case you were in danger of being captured. KGB & their military counterpart & the border police, etc. routinely executed political dissidents who managed to escape the Great Rodina/Gulag.
& you expect him to play nice?

Mr. Obama has placed himself at the helm of a top secret “nominations” process to designate terrorists for kill or capture, of which the capture part has become largely theoretical. He had vowed to align the fight against Al Qaeda with American values; the chart, introducing people whose deaths he might soon be asked to order, underscored just what a moral and legal conundrum this could be.
Mr. Obama is the liberal law professor who campaigned against the Iraq war and torture, and then insisted on approving every new name on an expanding “kill list,” poring over terrorist suspects’ biographies on what one official calls the macabre “baseball cards” of an unconventional war. When a rare opportunity for a drone strike at a top terrorist arises — but his family is with him — it is the president who has reserved to himself the final moral calculation.

Saif, who had previously studied in Germany, was the youngest of Gaddafi’s six sons and shunned the limelight. He minimised public appearances, choosing to keep a low-profile, unlike his older brother, also called Saif, who was a prominent regime figure.
Libyan government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim said the airstrike was “a direct operation to assassinate the leader of this country”.
Earlier yesterday Gaddafi, 68, offered NATO and rebel forces a ceasefire in a bid to halt the bombing raids

It's absolutely amazing to me that in the face of Cold War II, the right side of US politics delights in any angle that can be used to denigrate Obama.
It's not a good sign, and it's not an overlooked fact in the Kremlin.
